This small restaurant is an amazing find in Collegedale. Orders are freshly cooked so the vegetables are hot, slightly crisp and have not been sitting under a steam lamp. My shrimp lo mein was loaded with shrimp and the lunch portion was enough for two meals. The dumplings were just as I like them, crisp on the outside and steaming hot on the inside. Service was very fast, even though they had a steady stream of take out orders. The price for a lunch portion of lo mein, which included a huge portion of fried rice, was $7.70. They have a wonderful menu of meat alternatives, too. This is worth a repeat visit.

I’ve been to gatherings that would order party platters and takeout from China Kitchen, and it was all really good. I love their Lo Mein and Szechuan Chicken. This time I went with a friend to dine in for the first time. I got their Small Teriyaki Chicken which came with a side of rice. For me, I finished my rice portion quickly but the Teriyaki chicken entree was more than enough for me and I had a bunch leftovers. It was good but I’m wanting to try other popular options.

Been enjoying this place for nearly 8 years. The food is consistently good ( if you know what you want) the service is sometimes slow, but you need to patient during their busy hours. The environment is sterile and the seating uncomfortable. I have fond memories of taking my mother in law here pre-pandemic. She loved the small space and the food.

Order Chinese food WHICH IS MY FAVORITE!!!! Food was Hard especially the general chicken! The shrimp fried rice only had maybe 2 shrimps in it & it seems as if they just threw it in the microwave and reheated it my girlfriend ordered the pepper steak combo it was literally more onions than anything!!! Would not recommend as an nice Sunday dinner

Friendly people. Great prices and nice meals. My go-to meal is General Tsaos Chicken with white rice. One of the things that makes China Kitchen unique is their vegetarian choices. Every so often, I will order their vegetarian meals and it’s delicious.
