Combo Egg Foo Young the BEST in Joliet.

2nd time ordering, because the food was great the first time. The only thing that made me rate 2 stars was because I found out the the sizes they gave us the first time we ordered were Small though we all ordered Large that time as well. It was of course, I believe unintentional. Though for those 3 dishes on our first order, we paid for Large only to realize when I see the serving sizes of this latest order that they incorrectly gave as Small the first time (I didn’t know any better the first time so I though that they just have small servings). The food were good but might skip them for now until I recover from the realization of their mistake the first time and this feeling of disappointment.

Out of towner here. I met my friend in Joliet and we were both hoping for some Chinese food. We saw this place had decent ratings so we paid it a visit. As of August 22,2023 no dining in was offered and the exterior of the building was dilapidated and not inviting at all. I could only imagine what the inside was like. We decided not to risk it and went and got let down by Portillo’s instead.

Egg rolls here are great! The low mein is good. And and the house combination fried rice is great as well! Only thing is that they need to update their actual website pricing. I ordered assuming a certain pricing and when I got there to pay it was way more.

Been ordering here for years. Always good. Chef just called me back to let me know about the allergens in different dishes. Didn’t ask him to, he just wanted to make sure I knew because some of the other dishes I have to order special. Went above and beyond. Love this place.

Been eating here since my childhood. I could live off their Hawaian Fried Rice and HAVE multiple times of homelessness. This food is worth your last dollar for a delicious meal!

We accidentally stumbled upon China House when the restaurant we were gonna eat in was closed. What a nice surprise! We had a dinner for 2 which was yummy & so much food, we ate it for 2 days! And we discovered they mixed up our order, but the owner was so nice when I called & took my # saying they’ll make it up to us next time. We definitely will go back!

Order beef chopsuey sweet and sour shrimp and spicy beef and egg rolls shrimp was like hard rubber not edible both beef dishes were very un desirable egg rolls very nuked to a rubber state don’t know how this place has a 4star rating other than American people are so used to substandard food the owner should be ashamed to send this order out a wasted 62.00 went to bed hungry this was my first visit won’t b back
