I decided to give this place a try two nights in a row and loved their almond chicken, sesame chicken and egg drop soup. Their egg rolls were big too. And I really loved them as I’m super into bean sprouts. Lady is very friendly at the counter and place gets a lot of foot traffic in and out. As i waited for my food, customers told me who were also waiting on their food that I was gonna love the it and that I would be back. They weren’t wrong.

The Chicken Lo Mein has no flavor. I had a couple of bits and pit it in the trash. The Egg Rolls would have been ok but, online it doesn’t say it has shrimp in it. Ugh! I’m highly allergic to seafood… I just spent 5hrs in the ER. Thanks for all the food, money and time I wasted today…. I’ll be going back to Lucky’s Kitchen in Westland for my food. They are the best.

I looove China Gold! It’s the best Chinese food I’ve had in years. The chicken is always so moist and the crab rangoon are divine. The lady at the front is always so nice. I have nothing bad to say and I’ve eaten here over the last 2 years. General Tso, Almond Chicken, Chicken Lo Mein, it’s all good! The lunch portions are also superb for the price. Oh, and I love the fact you get like whole broccoli as well, not chopped up little bits for your chicken. Thank you for such good service!

Food not tasty. The lo mein noodles are skinny like angel hair pasta and were a little crunchy. The chicken pieces were boiled, not cooked, as there’s no browning or any suggestion it ever saw a pan. Celery was weird choice for vegetables in a lo mein. Did not taste good at all. Threw it all out after a few tester bites to rate this. Then I ordered from New China Moon on Plymouth Road instead.

We ordered general Tao’s chicken and almond chicken with egg rolls. The egg rolls were super greasy and filled with cabbage which tasted terrible. The chicken was dry, stringy, and did not taste good. Food also took a while for a pretty normal sized order which would not normally bother me if the food was actually good.

We have been going here since I was a kid! Excellent food, great staff – almond chicken is my favorite. You get a lot of food for a good price. Definitely recommend!

Not sure how this wonderful establishment stays in business. Tasteless frozen dumplings, shrimp chunks in hot and sour soup ?? Garlic chicken rubber and nothing but chicken, pork mixed in the way too red sweet and sour chicken. Spring rolls were great tho. Just say no.

Portions were generous, but we probably got what we deserved by ordering on a Monday night. Sauces were very salty whilst rice dishes were quite bland and both pork and beef had a fair amount of gristle (which I appreciate some diners would appreciate). For us 6.5/10 for taste, 8/10 for portion size.
