Found this hidden gem as my girlfriend was inside Ross dress for less I smelt something delicious and seen China Garden went and got some food there every thing was 5star wonton soup is the best I’ve ever had I even got two bowls Service was great and fast if you’re on the southside you better stop in here or it’s worth the trip especially if you like wonton soup

Anyone ordering the chefs specials with garlic sauce that’s says it’s supposed to be spicy. It’s actually so sweet it’s gross… each bite tastes like a spoon full of sugar yuck. Garlic and sugar not a good combo. It’s a shame because the food would be great, but who expects sugary garlic sauce??? Rangoons 5/5 dumplings 3.5/5

Never been here before, unfortunately I will not be returning. The staff seemed decent enough and they were extremely busy. The beef and broccoli was ok. However the chicken wings I got tasted old, either they were frozen for a long time or they used old oil to cook them with. Either way not a pleasant experience. The egg rolls were meh.

We tried ordering from here through door dash and the dasher stole our food. We then ordered again with my wife going in herself and picking it up. The way they treated her was outstanding. They even recognized our order and confirmed they watched the person canceling our order after receiving it.

I have gotten carryout often from China Garden over the past 8 years. I usually am very pleased with my food. Tonight I ordered Sea Scallops, Hot and Sour soup, and the Moo Goo Gai Pan combo, which includes a pork egg roll and pork fried rice. The Moo Goo Gai Pan was delicious, the fried rice and egg roll were ok. The Hot and Sour soup was neither Hot nor Sour, disappointing! Besides that I had ordered quart of soup hoping to have some for tomorrow, well they cheated me, only gave me 3 cups of soup not a full quart! I paid for a quart! But the Biggest disappointment was the Sea Scallops which weren’t Sea Scallops at all! They were heavily battered Imitation, white fish, Scallops!!! Sweet white fish at that! Yuck! They were Horrible! The menu didn’t state that they were imitation! I definitely will never order those again.

If I had rate the food from a scale 1/10 I would rate it a 7/10. The food could use a little bit of more love ❤ the cooks could use a little bit of help. The customer service was pretty terrible. The order I placed was wrong which was grilled dumplings I asked for cream cheese with crab instead got something different. The lady was totally rude about it nearly cussed at me. On customer service I would rate it half of star out of ten. Other options are available out there if you are not willing to deal with the bad experience.

I purchased a large general Tso’s chicken and shrimp fired rice and received a small. This happened the last time I ordered, but I thought it was a one time mistake. I also ordered a chicken rice soup and the gave me a container of white rice with very little liquid.
