Absolutely loved this place! Our server was the sweetest, most delightful woman. Our food came out fast and tasted amazing. When we asked for to-go boxes, our server packed our food for us while we ate our complimentary dessert of oranges. We’ll definitely be frequenting very often.

We had supper here. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Our waitress was delightful and polite. The food was absolutely amazing. I had Dragon Phoenix, my wife had orange chicken. Both we were delicious. Plenty of food, so bring your appetite!

I’ve been here twice now. They have a lunch buffet for just under $7/person, but the options are lackluster at best. It seems to me that they make one set of food and leave it out under the hot lamps for hours, which of course dries out the food, yet they don’t seem too concerned about refilling what was eaten. So, the food that is there is often dry and sparse. Additionally, the waitstaff for lunch seems to be at once skittish and nonchalant, and actually argued with me when I asked for something from the menu, insisting that the same dish that was in the buffet was good enough. (I got the feeling that the kitchen isn’t very welcoming with orders at lunchtime).

I’m a few months late with this review but it needs to be said. Unfortunately I had to stop going to this establishment. Never had a problem until I was brought my soup and my husband immediately stopped me because a cockroach was crawling on the plate holding the soup. I promptly left and he let the woman know and she saw it and said “ok” but that was all. I have no idea if they get pest control services or what their rating is, but I can never eat here again. Which is sad because the food was delicious.

The buffet was pretty much empty when I went. They don’t have a large buffet at all. Maybe 5 to 6 items. The menu disappointed me. They already have there combos set. I love sesame chicken and lo mein noodles, unfortunately that wasn’t a meal combo so they wanted me to pay for the meat separately which overall would have cost me more money. First and last time going there!

Been going here for over 20Years used to love going here for lunch with me and my workers.. It’s not a big Buffet but I never had a problem with the food. Just last time I visited they didn’t seem to like me having water instead of something else with my meal..I have kidney damage and I have to drink a lot of water…Well after taking the place up with the person I brought, again I didn’t have a problem with the food but our lunch buffet was a little over twenty dollars….We had water..I haven’t been back since but I was going to go and they were closed that Day.

This is one of those hole in the wall places that is just too good to pass up. The price is good, the food is delicious, and the portions are enough to satisfy any appetite. There is also a small daily buffet that is extremely cheap. My only problem with China Garden is the limited number of items on the buffet. It’s a good thing it’s so cheap and everything is tasty

Friendly staff, but the selections on the buffet are limited. The taste is good and I think the Crab Rangoon are the best tasting ones that I have found in Chattanooga. The buffet is lunch only with menu selections served after about 3 or 4 pm.
