⚠️ Couple weeks ago we went to the China Garden buffet for our 2023 Valentine dinner. We had an awful experience. The worst in our entire life. Food was days old tasting, barely warm, shrimp and crab tasted ‘exactly’ the same as though both were made out of some kind of bread doe, and fell apart the moment we put it in our mouth. The only reason we ever go there was for the all you can eat fried shrimp.

Took my family to dinner and it was $130 for 7 people (2 adults and 5 kids). Will not be going back. Food was too stale to be costing that much. It’s cheaper to take my family to a nice sit down restaurant where you don’t eat from plastic plates and cups.

Not a bad Chinese option in Culpepper. Food and service are good. Atmosphere is meh. Good sushi selection. Hot table has a nice selection of food, but very few vegetarian items. Also; Not real thrilled about all of the Styrofoam they use.

Avoid “Black Bean Beef” at all costs!! Incredibly sour “pockets” of bitter, mystery flavor, which tasted beyond borderline rotten. Mostly green pepper and onions so it should be called “Black Bean Vegetables with Beef”. Made it through about half of the entree before my confidence completely dissolved – praying I don’t have food poisoning. I should have known something was wrong when they didn’t understand what we wanted when we asked for this dish – clearly it isn’t often requested.

Foam plates, foam cup with hot tea, I should have walked out. No fried rice, no seasoning on food hardly. Will not go again. Oh and tea bag not loose tea. Not proper serving of Chinese food in my opinion.
