Racist and awful service. Ordered food online at 6:00 and walked there at the expected time of 6:32. People came in and ordered food FROM THE COUNTER and got the food before I did when I ordered online way in advance with an extra tip and walked there. I even went to the counter to check that my online order went through which it did, they just didn’t prepare it or anything. Never coming back. I paid for everything and never got any food after an hour of waiting.

The prices for both the order online AND the printed menus are WAY less than they charge you. My email receipt was $28 and when I show up to pay they charge me $35. They said their prices are up and “they’re getting new menus” but I say why not fix the prices on the website? Pretty sure this is illegal, check your bill! Will not be back.

I find the food here to be very good! When this business came to town many of us were sad about its predecessor, Golden Moon, closing its doors after decades due to what I recall was the exorbitant rent/leasing terms and a change of hands regarding property management (please don’t quote me on that though). Incredibly- me being the foodie I am- I had not had the opportunity to try China City until just recently. I have tried their lomein, spare ribs, scallion pancakes, and shrimp fried rice and found it all to be delicious! My sis treated me to a takeout feast the other night and it was incredible! I haven’t had the chance to actually see the inside of this restaurant or eat in but based on the quality of the food I’ve devoured so far, I can say that I’m very pleased and eagerly await the next time I will inhale more China City goodness like a Hoover! Until then, my friends-in-food!

When You Ask for Hot Oil on the side that give you Saracha Sause insted and thay call it Hot Oil and claim its home made, but definitely not Hot Oil.

I got a sesame chicken with fried rice and the chicken was like crunchy and no tenderness of a chicken but that wasn’t even it. Once I ate it I waited 2 hrs before going on the treadmill, but note that I was just walking on a incline and then later I had to leave and threw up the food and this can’t be normal at all because I waited 2 hrs, so their is something wrong with their food never eating that stuff again.

I used to eat here all the time due to it being so close to home but not anymore. I’ve found black hair in my boneless spare ribs twice on 2 different occasions which completely grossed me out. I tried giving this place a 3rd try but was unpleasantly surprised again to find more hair in my general tso lunch special. I will never step foot in or near this establishment ever again. They obviously have zero idea how to be sanitary and how to be clean. Disgusting. Dont go here.
