I recently moved to Brockton from Louisiana. I’ve been eating “Chinese” food since I was a baby and I’m always looking to try new restaurants wherever I go. This by far is one of the best I’ve ever tried. The food is hot, made to order, and the portions are big for the price. The staff are warm and friendly. This has become my go-to spot. I’ve tried several others in Brockton and they fall flat compared to China Chef. You can’t expect every business to hit it 100%, 100% of the time. If you got bad food or service, then you just got very unlucky. Try them again and you’ll be glad you did.

I recently moved to Massachusetts from New Jersey less then a year ago. Unfortunately my wife & I couldn’t find good quality Chinese Food at a reasonable price here in Mass. until we tried China Chef recently. We ordered take out. The food was excellent. They have great tasting, fresh, quality food at a reasonable price. This will be our go to for Chinese Food in the future. I highly recommended giving the food at China Chef a try.

Delicious I been going here on and off for at least 15 years.. I’ve seen their kids grow up. I admire them.. hard working, nicest, friendliest people.. the food is delicious old-style Chinese American take-out food. Chicken fingers, lo mein, kung pao chicken.. just the kind of food you want on a cold new England night!

Their food is the best I’ve found in Brockton.Fresh and made to order is the best way to eat it and they are always very nice to me, from taking my order over the phone to getting it delivered to my house.And I have recently recommended it to a couple of people who totally understand why I wanted them to try it and they are now learning what good Chinese food is.

My son ordered food from here. I do not encourage anyone to buy food from here. I ordered fried rice and chicken wings, but it only came with rice. When I go to talk to them about it, they wanted me to pay an extra 7$ after I already paid $14. The food has hair on it and tastes terrible. the meat tastes terrible. Overall, I give it 1 star and if I could give worse I would.

The crab Rangoon looked like severely deflated footballs. The fried shrimp consists of two jumbo shrimp pulverized and formed in two inches of undercooked bread crumbs. The egg foo young should be golden brown but our order was dark and dingy, an indication that the grease in which they were deep fried was old and dirty. THAT was the injury. The insult? We paid over $50 hoping to have a delicious first experience with China Chef. The food was worth less than $5. Don’t waste your money.

Nice, friendlyservice. Delicious chicken garlic sauce and rice. I keep going back.. . But slight increase price-wise cos of covid-19 – you pay extra 25cents for a piece of chicken wing.. You have to remind them to give you your free item depending on how much you’ve spent before taxes, they won’t offer.., so remember to ask.
