Dreams DO come true! FINALLY a GOOD Manchurian (Dongbei) style Chinese restaurant in the Denver-metro area!! 太开心了！If you want to eat authentic dongbei food (hearty food) make sure to order 地三鲜 （potato, eggplant and green pepper) as it is outstanding. Also, the 锅包肉 （manchurian style sweet and sour pork) also amazingly good. Eating here feels like being in China! Even the more Americanized dishes that we tried (sesame tofu, vegetable curry, chicken lo mein) were pretty good. Can’t wait to go back!

Appetizer Lapi with sesame source, GuoBaoRou, SuanCaiBaiRou, Stewed chicken with mushrooms, Cumin lamb. I’m not from Northeast China this cannot tell if they are authentic. I can only tell I love all of them. The amount is also more than plenty, a typical impression of northeastern cuisine. Not expensive at all!!!

China Cafe probably had some of the best tasting and authentic dumplings and noodles in town. The dumpling wraps and noodles were handmade and the texture was chewy. The taste of cabbage and pork stuffing for the dumplings was moist and well balanced, not salty or overly plain. The beef for the braised beef noodle was well cooked, juicy and tender and broth was very flavorful with a hint of spiciness. The beef wraps were quite refreshing and satisfying. Overall, up to expectation and did not disappoint.

Very nice customer service and decent portions. Prices are average. Though I ordered the steamed small buns and I either got the wrong item or they don’t make them like most places. They were more like dumplings. They were good , just not like any steam buns I’ve had before. I’ll most likely return though , my boyfriend and I enjoyed everything.

An authentic Chinese restaurant in Aurora! The Guobaorou is among the BEST I have ever had. The owner is a hospitable and lovely lady. And we were served so so well. Gonna visit Denver this ski season and definitely will come back again!

The staff was very friendly and appeared to be very happy. That is not always the case at many places. We came in a little later and in the evening, just after 8:00, so it was not very busy. We ordered just after arriving and it took about 13 minutes to have everything made. Really pretty quick. The food was pretty good. We ordered the General Tao’s Chicken, Sesame Chicken, and Curry Chicken. All were nicely done but the “spicy” items were not actually spicy. They added an order of wontons because the had run out of another item we ordered. Overall not too bad. We will be back to try some more items. Thanks China Cafe…

This food is garbage and overpriced even if it wasnt. The delivery driver is useless, Left my food in the rain. I come downstairs and shes getting back in her car. Wish i could take my tip back. Only reason i ordered from this place is because sugami is closed on Monday. Makes me really appreciate those guys when they are open. This food is gross, general tso chicken is basically just breading and food is cold.
