This is a really delicious hole-in-the-wall Chinese joint. We dined in and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We went during lunch and got 3 lunch meals. Each included a spring roll, fried rice and crab rangoon. Don’t come here expecting a white table cloth dine-in experience. If you have been anywhere in Asia, this place will transport you back to those adventures. Bring your own water bottle or buy a drink there. This will definitely be our go-to Chinese place.

I’ve tried my favorite shrimp fried rice at other restaurants but it couldn’t match China Cafe’s in terms of taste. The lunch special serving amount is decent. Too bad they don’t offer seating anymore. I used to enjoy it.

NO! NO! NO! Everything about my order was just wrong! Hot sushi… Literally HOT…. as in had been cooked or microwaved. Also, this is not sesame chicken. There was a thick heavy bread coated over what looked like canned or heavily processed chicken. As soon as my fork touched this concoction the bread fell off exposing the cheap meat underneath. This was just a bad experience. They missed the mark

went 2/23/2023….egg foo yung (veg) was OK but could have been better if they used fresh veggies instead of frozen peas, carrots, and broccoli (there was no oriental vegs at all)…chicken chow mein was terrible, boiled cabbage with boiled chicken, again no oriental veggies…wasted $25.00 on flavorless food..won’t be going back for sure…

Food was not good…The “fried rice” was literally just brown rice with nothing – they wanted to charge an additional $3.25 to add anything to it. We ordered orange chicken – we all know what orange chicken is supposed to look & taste like. Tell me whyyyyy they gave us sweet & sour chicken with couple orange slices thrown on top & some orange “sauce” on the side which tasted like nothing. We also got beef & broccoli – literally tasted like brown gravy for a Salisbury steak was put on top… what? Gross! I’m from NYC & have seen some amazing Chinese food. This was not it in the least bit. Overpriced, small portions, weird “renditions” on dishes… you’re better off going to the little Chinese places by the supermarkets they’re much better. 2 stars for it at least being hot & made fresh. But very disappointing & not worth the price at all
