I was not impressed with the chicken, it was rubbery, definitely not white breast meat in both fried rice & the general tso. Beef & broccoli had questionable tough meat also.

This restaurant is located right in downtown Watertown in an old, dark building. Nonetheless, I ordered take out and was very impressed. I was able to communicate with the employee that I am gluten-free, and they made me plain Vegetable Mei Fun. It was wok-tossed and the flavor was delicious. I used my own gluten-free soy sauce at home, and my husband enjoyed his Sweet and Sour Chicken. You can tell the rice is made in a rice cooker too. It was very easy to order on their website and the food was ready within 20 minutes. I’d order here again!

Very nice staff, new location is nice and clean. They might need to hire another employee to help out during rush hours.

We stopped by for lunch on a weekday and it was deserted. The place had a funky old food combined with musty, damp basement smell and it was oddly dark inside. There is a counter where you order food and then they’ll bring it out to you. The woman working wasn’t friendly and did not seem to care much about customer service. Our food did come out quick but it was pretty generic. We got the Happy Family and the coconut chicken. The beef in the Happy Family did not taste fresh, but the chicken and shrimp were fine. The sauce had a bit too much cornstarch so it was a bit clumpy and flavor was like any other generic Americanized Chinese food. It came with a side of white rice and it was very disappointing white rice. It smelled a bit sour, like it was from the day before. Again, definitely not fresh. The coconut shrimp had a nice crunch and sugary coconut sauce. It was good, not great. Not sure it was worth the $25 for both our meals.

We ordered $66 worth of food. The fried wontons we have no idea what kind of cheese was in there but it had a lot of sugar in it. Lo mein is very dark and the noodles were gummy. It was supposed to be vegetable but it only had a small amount of broccoli and onions. The rice was not fresh. The sweet and sour chicken was very good the sauce was extremely runny. Orange chicken was very dark and very spicy unusual for orange chicken but I enjoyed it. I would not recommend the egg foo young either. I would not go back here for any reason.

My boyfriend and I always order from here, great food and they give you so much that it’s 2-3 meals in one! Great prices and friendly staff. Love the new location too

Very disappointed at the lack on customer service. Called for takeout and was told that the food would be an hour which is fine. Showed up an hour later and the restaurant had 8 people in front of me. At no point were any of us asked about our order to check the status or allowed to ask about our food at the front counter the staff remained back in the kitchen. About every five minutes a lady would come out and call out an order. After each person ahead of me got their food and left I was asked what I ordered. I was told that someone ahead of me had taken our food. I told her no when asked if I wanted to wait for them to make it as it had already been forty minutes waiting in the restaurant and I didn’t want to wait any longer. I will not be going back which is a shame with the lack of good Chinese food places in the area, B1 is the only one I have found that serves quality food.

Food was horrible. My fried rice wasn’t fried. It was steamed with hot sauce and vegetables. The won tons are way to sweet like they add sugar in the cream cheese. Egg rolls were ok. The food is way over priced. They only offer pint sizes and they charge you for a quart.

They changed their won ton cream to a cheap generic one and they meal used to literally be double the weight. We used to love this place but with them skimping on the food, changing recipes, giving less sauce, different rice and raising the prices we turned from loyal customers to we wouldn’t recommend this place. They’re gonna go out of business and have no idea how they’re still in business.
