My husband and I are staying at Savage River Lodge, and wanted to try some of the local foods. We ended up on deciding with this restaurant, and it was some of the best food I’ve had! We got the Raging Rooster, Steak fried Wedgie, chicken wings with the Spicy Ranch sauce, the sweet and Sassy fries, and some tenders. Everything was on point, and made our day. Unfortunately he didn’t catch the name of the woman who helped him with the order, but he said she was beyond friendly and happy. We can’t wait to go again next time we are here!

Pizza and wings were surprisingly REALLY good. Came across this place while we were headed to Deep Creek Lake and saw that they had good reviews. We got the medium pizza, garlic butter and spicy BBQ wings. They were super crispy and juicy. I would definitely recommend this place.

The building is not much to look at but don’t let it fool you about how nice the folks are inside and how great the food is. I had a Stramboli? It is pizza dough folded over and a filling. I chose Philly cheese steak with mozzarella, peppers and mushrooms. Sauce is on the side. It was wonderful.

A very nice, quaint restaurant that serves American cuisine to customers. The food was cooked to perfection and the customer service was excellent. They offer a variety of food options, but my first experience was an all-you-can-eat breakfast, made to order for $10. They made a great first impression. I highly recommend this restaurant to you!

I’m a local and have been to this establishment multiple times over the years. I used to say 4 stars, but have since dropped my rating to 3. While the food is always good and 95% of the time the order is completely accurate, the owner is almost negligent in following protocol and mandates related to Covid-19. If any of the employees and owner follow even the simplest of the mandates, it seems to depend on the day.

The food was the right portion. Delightful. Atmosphere was country to the heart. You felt like family and or apart of the community when you dine at Chillin’ Hot Grill and Deli. I will be going back and trying another meal to feel the love through the food. It’s not a fast food restaurant. It is a restaurant that you can come in out of the cold and have a good hot cup of coffee. So come on in and try it. You won’t be disappointed.
