Chilis seemed to be understaffed and had a new Food Assembler. The wait was quite long for our meals, and the orders came out very wrong. Ordered two side salads and a sirloin and a bowl of chili. The chili came out without any toppings and there was no spoon provided. Sirloin did not come with the mashed potatoes and broccoli sides. Just steak poorly placed on a plate. Only one salad came out and it was the wrong type. Lettuce was not fresh either. The only highlight was the waiter that assisted us after our complaints. We got two full salads instead of half for free, all we had to pay for was the sirloin and drinks. However the pay kiosk was assigned to a different table, making us need to ask for help again. Will not be coming back anytime soon.

Despite being one of only a handful of customers in the store, the service was horrible. Our waitress was apparently also working the bar as the only bartender and we were neglected. Took almost an hour for us to get our drinks (water) and place our order. Food tasted like it was sitting under a heat lamp for 30 minutes and the broccoli was brown and moldy in some spots. Was told we would get new broccoli but after 45 minutes without another visit we payed ourselves using the table kiosk and left. Chili’s is normally pretty reliable but this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had.

Chili’s has always been a reliable go-to chain restaurant for ribs, fajitas, burgers and more. Returning to CT after many years in SoCal some time ago, I told people it was the only place you could get a good margarita. There are equally good places now or better for this drink, but Chili’s still provides a balanced menu and a comfortable environment for patrons who want to sit at the bar, have a family dinner with young children or a casual date.

Unfortunately this was not a good experience at all. This is our first and last time coming to this particular Chilis. We were coming back from Granby and figured we’d stop. We usually frequent the chilis in Bristol or southington and typically have good experiences. I had weird vibes from the start and should’ve listened to my gut. A gentleman at the to go counter was visibly irritated, not a manager in site either. Several tables needed bussing and cleaning. Should’ve left then, but we were hungry. Our server was definitely inexperienced, we tried to give the benefit of the doubt. We ordered our usual Arnold palmers (one with blackberry and other with mango flavoring) I don’t know what we received but they were not Arnold palmers and they were very watered down. I’m guessing this server didn’t know what an Arnold Palmer was and tried to take a guess at it.

Food adequate. Beware and look at your bill carefully. I was overcharged ( charged for an additional extra meal) and didn’t notice right away. I tipped 20% on the incorrect amount because I typically tip generously -i have worked in food service and it’s close to my heart. I pointed out the error to our server and he said it would be corrected. I’m still waiting for the refund. Sad.

Horrible takeout . The salad looked like they scraped it off someone’s else’s plate. Inedible! Disgusting ! Called to speak to the manager got hung up on 3 times. Salad was not as described it consisted of some soggy lettuce and greasy fried chicken, nothing else.

Food quality is horrible. The chefs don’t know how to cook. It never taste good . I asked for butter on the side, i didn’t receive any and i did not receive any utensils. The staff always walks past you when you walk in. They see you and don’t acknowledge you while you’re standing there waiting for assistance. It would be nice if they acknowledge you letting you know someone will assist you soon

Our waitress disappeared, leaving us long enough that we did have to stop another employee for the check. When told we were paying with cash, she became very clearly agitated and said she had to ‘go find ‘ the original waitress. The food was great but definitely won’t come back here due to the employees.

Decided to use the park and pickup method for the first time and won’t be doing that here again. The woman who came out was rude to me for wanting to pay $18 on my card and $14.69 in cash. Seemed annoyed for having to go back in with cash. I told her twice, $18 on the blue card. When she came back out she didn’t have any change and said she took the whole $20 and charged the rest to my card. Which is not what I asked for. For something that was supposed to be convenient and seamless it was awkward, uncomfortable and inconvenient.

Chili’s NEVER disappoints especially this specific location. The waitstaff are super friendly and nice, the food is a huge hit, and the margaritas are chilled and delicious (the presidente margarita is my personal favorite) this is my favorite restaurant 10 out of 10 recommend
