This location in Bennington is either run by lazy unsupervised employees or managememt that simply don’t care. Google maps shows a closing time of 10pm, we were driving by while moving and decided to detour to eat here, we arrived at 9:35 and found the Hours sign showing closing at 11pm, so it seemed that all was OK, but pulled the door and it was locked, employees still were inside but nobody cared we were there, we walked to the side To-Go door which was open and asked the employees about service they mentioned it was closed, I asked about the sign on the door indicating closing at 11, they said they changed their hours since COVID, I then mentioned Google Maps show closing at 10pm and it was 9.35pm, so I asked at what time they close, she replied sorry we close between 9.30pm and 10pm (Sounded more like a convenience to them rather than business hours). Needless to say, we lost quite some time for our detour and ended up empty handed. Respectful businesses should abide by their posted hours so customers do not loose their time which is as valuable as theirs, regardless of what those are, just do what you say.

We decided to eat here as it was late and close to our hotel. This was our 3rd time here during Battle Days in Bennington. I ordered the 10 oz steak with plain mashed potatoes instead of loaded mashed potatoes and broccoli. I requested no season ing. My steak was tough and not cooked as ordered. Potatoes were cold.I was brought a new order of potatoes, and when I requested butter….they only have garlic butter! Requested to speak with the manager, and another steak was cooked, but this time seasoned with garlic butter and still not a quality steak for the price but I ate it as I was tired and just wanted something to eat. Few places are open in Bennington after 9pm.. I know Chili’s is known for their Mexican food, but some items should be added to their menu so a person can eat something other than Mexican food if their partner wants Mexican. And I don’t just mean hamburgers!. I asked about chicken… seasoned. The manager did work with us, so that helped. Our server,Clara, was exceptional and is an asset to the company.She did everything to make sure I could have something suited to my dietary restrictions. Will not be coming back.

Went for my sisters birthday and after one drink for myself and one for my sister, she wanted another of what I had and was told I wouldn’t be served another drink (my other sister was designated driver). Don’t really know why I wouldn’t be served another if I wanted one. I don’t get to hang with either sister all that much because life gets in the way.. I’m the youngest of us three, and at the age of 57 and only served one drink at a birthday celebration was, in my opinion, not good service. Never go there again.

We ordered take out. Chicken, fries, Mac & cheese and sauces. Everything was so terribly salty it was not palatable. I like a litte bit of salt but this was ridiculous. Had to throw it out. Certainly a substandard meal and waste of money.

The food was mediocre, but I expect that at a chain restaurant. The waitress did a nice job, as we sat in the bar area and she was also the bar tender. It looked as though the inside has been updated within the last 10 years, but the bathrooms needed attention. It felt like there was a layer of sludge/grease across everything and the dispensers were mostly broken in the stalls.

So my family and I orded take out ,I orded full rack of ribs and TWO orders of fries ! And the portion is very small !! Barley a single order of fries !! Absolutely ridiculous especially for the price!!in my double order of fries it was about a 12 French fries ,is 6 French fries a portion ?also this is 3 rd time !
