We had a reservation for 12 when the restaurant opened and our party basically had the place to itself. However, there didn’t seem to be enough staff to monitor our needs and service was a little slow. The one gentlemen who was serving is was nice and professional though. The food was good, attractive and hot for all parties when all were able to order and be served.

They have a great happy hour menu and beer but were out of modelo and Goose Island. There’s impossible meat in the menu which is fantastic. The variety is nice and the food is well done and presented. The only bad part was the service- we were at the car and it wasn’t crowded still we didn’t get the chips and salsa that the tables received till we realized and asked after ordering our food, didn’t serve us with cutlery or napkins so had to ask and wait after the food arrived. The bartender didn’t seem to understand or speak English very well so communication was a slight issue. Overall good but service has to improve

Everything was fine; we expected a little more, but it wasn’t horrible. I believe that if our waiter Diego had been more attentive to our order, there would have been fewer errors. We’ll try again because the meal was excellent; it was just our waiter who didn’t feel like working that day.

Been to this Tex-Mex spot a couple of times, no surprises on the menu but always a good time! The drinks are decently priced as well. I recommend the el jefe burrito or the veggie quesadilla and of course one of their flavored house margaritas!

Has certainly declined in quality of food and service over the recent 2 years!! When you are one of two tables in use in the restaurant and your chili and meal come out cold and luke warm… No sense of care or concern from the staff or bartender! Adding an automatic 20% gratuity for subpar food and service is wrong! Third time in a row the food and service have been poor. Once upon a time it was a favorite. I would not recommend and will not be returning!

First of all the initial service was the bomb. Seated outside, but mosquitoes we’re eating me up so I asked to go inside and it went downhill from there. The waitress was an airhead. Ordered the chicken enchiladas with the refried beans and rice and it was awful. No taste or flavor at all. My wife ordered chicken tacos with the same results. Awful with no flavor. This was my first time so I’m not sure if we hit a fluke but we will not be back. Also the patrons at the bar are loud and obnoxious, so don’t bring your kids. Peace. If you want real tacos go to Taco Vida or Banditos. Peace

5/24/22 Ben our bartender was great. The supervisor or manager however praying before she came to the table to resolve an issue was childish. The food was not its best today. But any other day I’ve visited the service was great and the food usually is excellent. If you thinking of visiting still come. All days want be great. But ask for Liam or Ben at the bar they are wonderful.

This food was terrible! The fish and shrimp tacos were not eatable. The fish and shrimp were over cooked and was as chewable as gum. Everything about this meal sucked! The service was terrible. The wait staff doesn’t come and ask how if you’re enjoying your food. Too had to ask for my side dish I ordered, which they didn’t bring out until I the end of the meal. They never asked for refills. They didn’t remove any unused dishes from our table, and had a nerve to add automatic 18% gratuity. Any service provider who has to automatically add gratuity knows that their service isn’t worth one red cent. I cannot describe how bad this food tasted. The kids menu is even a joke. They don’t even serve kid friendly drinks. They offered my 3 year old pineapple juice…. His chicken fingers were so dry it was like eating paste. I don’t know how they are in business.

I came in today to try their jalapeño and cucumber margaritas. The restaurant was pretty much empty. I sat at the bar since I was only going to drink. The jalapeño one was good, however kinda small for the price. It was strong though. I finished it and I wanted the cucumber one but the bartender was all over the restaurant and never checked back on me. By the time he came back I had to leave. I work for tips too so I tip generously but this place already charges you 20% even for a party for one. I wonder if that makes the workers here not really care so much for the customers as they know they will get their 20% no matter if service is good or bad.

The food is definitely Tex-Mex. I ordered Lomo Saltado and it came with French fries with the steak and onions. It was delicious comfort food dish!
