My niece almost deterred me from trying by saying that her co-workers told her that it wasn’t good. But I’m not one to go on others opinions, and decided to try it. I tried the Fancy Nancy ($8.99), which is chicken salad with Fuji apples, pecans and grapes on croissant, with a scoop of the barbecue chicken salad as my side, and a extra side of broccoli cheddar soup. The taste of the salad was good, but they hardly put anything on the bread. I literally was able to scoop the salad from both sides and put it on one half of the croissant, and my side scoop of barbecue flavored salad on the other half. I literally got more for the scoop than I did on the actual croissant. Now I’m wondering if it’s better to just buy scoops and then add them to bread when I get home. The broccoli cheddar soup was creamy and very tasty. Now my body didn’t hold on to the food very long, but that could also be some of my own stomach tolerances. All that to say is the chicken salad is tasty, has many options, but could use larger portions on the actual sandwich.

I came here for the first time, and I was stuck on which chicken salad to get, and the really nice gentleman gave me samples to taste before ordering. He was so personable and personalized my order exactly how I wanted it. So nice to see people passionate about food and service. Great place and delicious food.

A wonderful surprise. I have driven past this place for months and finally decided to pop in. Greeted very pleasantly by Kendra, the young lady behind the counter. She was very patient and offered as many samples as needed to make a decision. I had the option to choose a Scoop or Sandwich on bread or croissant. I chose wheat bread instead of the croissant (recommended by Kendra). There is also the option to Make It a Trio by adding a side. I love anything spicy so I got the Jalapeño Holly, which has diced jalapeños galore! I also bought the Kickin’ Kay Lynne – a combination of buffalo sauce, ranch, bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, jalapeños, & Sriracha!!! For my side I chose the Grape Salad, which consists of Red & White seedless grapes covered in a sweet cream cheese mixture, topped with brown sugar & crushed pecans…YUM! The food is fresh and the prices are reasonable. There’s a cooler upfront with prepared salads to go, in large and small sizes. You’ll spend anywhere between $9 and $11, depending on sides and a drink. There is also a drive-through. I’m very pleased to have found something different to eat besides fried foods all the time.

A very great experience. Your able to taste anything before you buy. The food was so good I ate it in the car and took a bowl to go. Kendra was the sweetest young lady with great customer service. I hope that’s her name. But you can’t go wrong here everything was delicious and fresh. The wheat bread is toasted soft so good.

We ordered online and picked up. Once we got home realized we had the wrong chicken salad. The tub was labeled correctly, but it was the wrong salad inside. However, since we think they may have known. We ordered 12 little cookies and recieved 12 of the flower cookies instead. Wrong salad forgiven. I heard they no longer carry either fancy Nancy or fruit fran (the one with out pineapple) which is why we got the chicken salad we got instead. That was from a friend. If that’s the case, just take it off the ordering option. 🙂 With few healthier eating establishments around here, this in is a must. The grape salad, delicious. Not exactly healthy, but eh oh well.

I placed an online order to avoid having to wait. I was getting lunch for work. Online said my order would be ready at 5:48 pm. Arrived to restaurant around 6:10 due to heavy rain in the area. When I arrived to drive thru I was instructed to pull to the window. When I pulled to the window I informed them that I had a carry out order that was supposed to be ready. The young guy at the window seemed so nonchalant said ok and closed the window. I sat there for 10 minutes watching him and his co workers laughing and talking as if they were at some type of party. So I blew the horn and asked he located my order he said he was checking on it. Another 10 minutes goes by still no order. Another young lady comes to the window and she states that there system had went down the night before and that she could not locate my order and if I told her what I had ordered she would remake it. Well she remade it and the order was wrong. The young guy at the window seemed as if he is incompetent to have a job and I wasted 30 minutes waiting on an order that was supposed to be ready and the order was still wrong. And I guess their apology were free cookies that I didn’t want or need.

I been in here several times and I think it’s extremely expensive for what you get. We were there to try one more time and it was about 8:40 the girl behind the counter shrugged at me when I asked for the price of pasta salad then she shrugged a second time when I asked her a different question what the hell you work there you should know. Then I ordered two bowls of soup got two half filled cups. Never never again they won’t be there long unless they change so far three tries no more for me.

Went to the location in Gonzales and the door had a small sign that said, “drive thru only”. The doors were open, people standing waiting to order and people eating in the dining room. An employee exited the kitchen area (I’m assuming a manager) obviously irritated and scolded all the customers standing in line and stated, “The dining room is closed, I’m sorry you all can’t read! You all need to learn to read!” With that we were all escorted out the premises. If you plan on closing, lock your doors! The food might be wonderful but in my first experience, the customer service is terrible. This customer will go hungry before returning!
