If you’re craving a light fresh meal, this chicken salad joint is the place to go. Always friendly pleasant staff, it’s nice and clean. My personal favorite it’s the fruity fran on wheat not toasted with tomato and lettuce. It’s fresh and sweet. The grape salad is my go to side. Plus the cookies are so yummy just the right size for a perfect sweet snack. The trio always comes with a pickle spear I usually eat it first.

Omg Brooklyn. Do you have any idea what goes on at this store? The vapid young woman who was working was either drugged out or just decided not to work. Sat at drive thru window 15 minutes. Never acknowledged . Not the first time these idiot girls have completely disregard Ed your customers.

I came through the drive thru today (July 25)to order some lunch (around 1:30) and was greeted over the intercom by a male who was very pleasant to speak to while taking my order. I pulled up to the window and gave the young lady my money to pay. She told me my order would be out in a few. I waited for about 15 mins plus…. the young lady apologized for the wait. During my waiting period I’m going to assume it was the manager, was extremely rude to his employee that was running the window doing her absolute best. Instead of helping her and encouraging her he was talking to her as if she was nothing. I even told her to never let anyone talk down to the way he was. (The drive thru window was left open) I have worked in Ormond Beach in Hospitality for 10 years and I have NEVER let someone speak like that to an employee nor let a manager ever talk to me the way he was. He should have use his intercom skills the same way he does with his customers to his employees. Good management is the only way to have a good team. No wonder the wait was so long and the kitchen was backed up. Very disappointed.

I’m a frequent customer of this restaurant, today I came through and a new girl was being trained. She was very nice & friendly, smiled & made eye contact (unfortunately rare)… and then offered me extra crackers. I politely turned her down since I’m on a low carb diet, but it was very nice that she offered… and then as I was pulling away her trainer (older woman with orangish hair) yelled at her (loud enough for me to hear) – about offering me a couple extra crackers. Not only did I hear it, but the customer behind me surely heard it as well. A trainer is of paramount importance in any customer service-based business as they keep up the standards of the company, I think you need a new one and I think she should apologize to her trainee.

Been here >20 times. Always a calm place to eat, plenty of room, and a good atmosphere for conversation. The chicken salad varieties are all excellent, and the cookies are a perfect finish. The weak link is the breads of the sandwiches (croissants or sliced bread) which are always cold or room temp and don’t taste fresh. They’d knock it out of the park with daily made bread. Wait staff is excellent and manager is always friendly. The drinks are self serve and you bus your own table but they bring food to you. Tipping is not expected. We normally eat inside but have taken it to the beach for large groups as well.

I counted 6 employees on the floor (one was on her lunch break eating in the seating area), otherwise, the restaurant was empty. We went inside to order. It took 20 minutes to receive our food to go from the time we ordered (a chicken sandwich, chicken salad with crackers) and with only 1 person ahead of us. The food was delicious, but the service was really, REALLY slow.
