I had a decent experience at chicken out, The place was clean and I enjoyed the ambience. This was my first visit. When it comes to the food, the chicken was very dry, and over cooked, but it was flavorful and well presented. The portion was not oversized, however it was just a touch under what I expected size wise. My trip was about six months ago. Maybe they have improved, I hope they have. The chicken tasted good. It was just over cooked and dry, the staff was very responsive and the facility was top-notch. Somethings just not hitting the mark.

I ordered the “cheep and cheddar” meal and the chicken was very good. The fries are also very good. The prices are a little high for a sandwich though. Free refills on drinks.

Idk what chicken salt is but it doesn’t add to the flavor of the fries. I got a Spicy Chicken Sandwich and it was just “okay”. The meat was juicy and moist with a subtle kick. It’s a cute space the food its self is nothing special and for that reason I don’t think I will be back.

First time visitor! Staff were kindly patient while I ordered and ensured that customizations were correct in the kitchen before serving. Food is delicious and chicken is soooo tender! Price is relatively up there ($15 ish per person).

The youngest kid that took our order and got our drinks went well above standard. He made sure we had everything we needed and their drink machine was down so he continued to fill our drinks. We made sure to tip.

Sandwich was delicious we ordered the Nashville Hot. Our side was the kale salad and it came with a little too much dressing. Will try another side next time. Service was good. The interior atmosphere seems to be a little sad.

Out of 27 states and 12 countries this place has some of the best seasoning on their moist, tender chicken that I’ve tasted. Their Chicken Out sandwhich is a great combination of flavors without being overly complex.

Everything was great, the chicken, ranch, Mac n cheese, but $&@! the poutine was amazing! I’m sad it was only a monthly special but I’ll be back to try everything else on the menu!

We were finally able to visit the Kirkwood location today and it was extremely disappointing. The Mac-n-cheese was really watery and the noodles were overcooked. The chicken sandwich was super dry and very little for the price we paid. It is definitely not even comparable to the photos posted on their website. $14.20 for a chicken sandwich, side, and a small drink is is way overpriced for basically a dry flat chicken strip on a sandwich. The only thing we did enjoy was the bacon on the sandwich. We will not be returning.

Traveled from South Carolina (who should know fried chicken) to St. Louis to see The Urge on a Friday night. Very busy evening but service was fast, super friendly and the chicken was probably the best chicken sandwich I’ve had in my 49 years. Absolutely recommended.
