They do Fish n Chips! But.. it’s a chicken fast food place! Is the fish really fish, or genetically modified fowl? Or maybe they put chicken in a particle accelerator and shoot sub-atomic fish particles at it? That might be what they do, and what I really bought was fission chips.

I ordered fried pickles 2 weeks ago that were amazing! Stayed crispy even cold. Fast forward to this past Monday and wanted some to ho with dinner. Got home and were totally different!! Disappointed! Not only were they different… they were awful! #1 squishy even fresh and hot #2 super heavy cornmeal/HEAVY peppered batter. I got instant reflux after swallowing 1! Literally 1 slice. Threw the ENTIRE family sized order in the trash! Now I’m bummed bc that’s one of 3 things I can eat from there. I sure wouldn’t recommend the current supply of pickles unless you enjoy heavy heavy black pepper and cornmeal bc that’s what they tasted like….

Great fried food at an even better price… The catfish was plentiful and delicious, the okra was simply divine (especially with the serendipity packet sprinkled on) , fried chicken was delicious, gravy and tenders both flawless… The rolls and biscuits… All of it delicious! The sweet tea is also really good but maybe too sweet for some people. I’m in Texas, so this is probably a normal amount of sugar to put into sweet tea

The prices have gone up everywhere, but the product is the same everywhere. Here i paid approx $17 for a 7 PC tender meal with one side and a med drink. The most of the tenders looked like nuggets. So the prices went up and the product got smaller. I don’t mind paying a little more but don’t go smaller on the product. Do one or the other….or keep the same prices and go smaller on the product.
