12 piece family meal was $52.92 with tax . The meal was not worth the price . There was more wings then any other pieces and the sides were small. The chicken was dry like it had been sitting in the warmer for to long .I tried to call the location but they were in the middle of dinner rush . Would not recommend. Not at that price

The chicken tenders were good. The mashed potatoes were bland. The sweet tea was way too sweet. (Yes, I know it’s supposed to be sweet. But I get at least 1 gallon a week in New Braunfels. McKinney’s tea was too sweet. )

God I love their chicken. Perfectly crispy. Order a number two meal with spicy seasoning (extra) on the side, mashed potatoes and Arnold Palmer. My go to meal.

Fast in the drive thru, but they don’t warn you that sauce is no longer included with whatever you’re ordering. Fried pickles are brittle and dry, and inside the batter, there is basically no pickle at all. Sweet Tea is packed with ice so the XL I ordered has enough for a S.

The staff at this store is amazing! Super sweet and always smiling. I always get the liver and gizzards, I’m a southern girl! Since the aren’t that popular they are made to order. When I’m in a bit of a hurry, they are ok with me calling ahead so they can start cooking my order. That for me makes this hands down the BEST Chicken Express. The catfish is also pretty dang tasty.

Ordered 4 chicken tenders, very disappointed. These tenders are not full size strips. Looks like they cut 1 chicken strip to make multiple tenders. Definitely not worth $7.00.
