The young lady who was taking orders greeted my daughter and I as soon as we opened the door to enter. She was polite and friendly, even asked my daughter about being out of school for Summer break. Our food was hot, cooked the way I requested and was good! I can’t speak on others reviews, which almost deterred me from going, but ours was great!

I arrived around 12pm for lunch and placed my order. Even that didn’t go well as the young lady behind the counter was rude. After that I proceeded to wait 20 minutes to get my order as I watched several people come in order and receive food quickly. When i walked to the counter and asked about my food the lady was still unreasonably rude. This establishment needs to learn customer service and basic conversation skills

I’ll tell you I’ve been a pretty loyal customer here for many years BUT the last couple years I have seen this business deteriorating slowly to the point where now I have to fight tooth and nail to give them my money. From sitting on hold for long periods of time just to be hung up on to getting subpar quality food. Sometimes it’s great and sometimes it’s questionable. I would say go here when it’s empty or just get your wings somewhere else. Makes me sad to say it but it is true. I hope it gets better but I’m not holding my breath.

If I could leave negative stars I definitely would!!! I used to love them when they were located in the gas station plaza in Locust Grove but now!…this location is THE ABSOLUTE WORST I pull into the drive through where the employee stated that she can’t take my order at the window and that it would take 15 minutes to cook anything. She also says that I would need to call or come inside. So I back into a parking spot and call in my order since it’s dark outside and I have my children with me. The employee that took my order said it’ll 20 minutes. WELL I GAVE THEM 30!! When I called to check on the order they stated that it was still being worked on and they will call me when it’s ready. I gave it 10 more minutes meanwhile I’m parked in FRONT OF THE BUILDING…watching them! One girl is cleaning the restaurant. I watched her sweep, take the trash out and mop. The other girl was on the phone. The whole time those two were chatting with each other. SO WHERE IS MY FOOD?! After 40 minutes I left!!! I never received a call that my order was ready! I’m glad I didn’t have to pay in advance. I WILL NEVER COME BACK!!

I shouldn’t have to pay an up charge to have the chicken on my Buffalo chicken sandwich not be dry. I always ask that my sandwich be slightly wet (with hot sauce) bc if I don’t request that there is pretty much no sauce on the chicken and the sandwich is dry. So basically I only want enough sauce on there to not have a dry sandwich and I’d like to actually be able to taste the hot sauce. Today, however, when I picked my order I was charged extra. That’s stupid. There was only the amount of sauce on there that there actually should be. The girl in the drive thru needs to work on her customer service skills as well. She CLEARLY didn’t want to be there today. This is the first negative experience I’ve had here which is why I gave it 4 stars and not 3. Today’s service definitely only gets a 3 star rating. But overall I do really like the food here and will continue to go back and recommend to others. They just need to not make their sandwiches so darn dry. Put a little sauce on it and don’t charge extra for how it should come in the first place. Their wings are properly coated in sauce so why isn’t the chicken on the sandwich done so as well? Makes no sense. I’ve included a pic of the sandwich with the “extra” sauce I had to pay extra for. So better chicken run. I know you can.

I don’t normally take time to leave reviews but I won’t get burnt again next time I will go to River Roost where I go often. The service was fine, the buffalo tender sandwich taste was good but absolute 0 on value. I took my 14 year old grandson there today and ended up with he ended up with a sandwich half the size as the other restaurant mentioned above. Come on u have good service and food get in the game, maybe I’ll try again.

I usually come to this location for my lunch break it’s convenient the foods usually good. But todays experience was disappointing. I ordered my food and entered the driver thru which had two cars in front of me. I stayed in line for about 10 minutes get to the window and waited 15/20 additional minutes. When the employee finally gets the chance to acknowledge me , and present me my food it’s cold. I get that it gets busy but I’m sure that such a popular establishment can observe patterns and plan shifts accordingly. I was handed the same cold food I spoke to the owner about with fresher fries and refried cauliflower . How distasteful. As a frequent patron I’m sad to say that this was my last visit. I’m disappointed that the experience wasn’t handled with much more professionalism. Rather I was met with a lack of accountability and finger pointing.
