I know this place is known for its chicken but what’s telling of a restaurant is that their other non main offerings should be great , to be a recommended place. I ordered a shrimp tempura burrito. Shrimp tempura was crispy and seasoned, vegetables are cold, crispy fresh and tortilla was not dry. My friend ordered a chicken sandwich which she said was good. She ordered strawberry lemonade and I got a taro milk tea. What I got were delicious. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend everyone to check this place out! New place with clean dining area, modern order counter with self service terminal (was offline on this day). You alternatively press on a button to call attention to staff who will take your order. You sit where you please. There are clean tables and seats and walls are adorned with shelves and decor. Our order was brought to our table with a smile! Will definitely come back, recommend this place to try!

Amazing. That’s all you really need to read. Chick N Roll is a locally owned chicken sandwich heaven. Try the Katsu, it was easily one of the best chicken sandwiches that I’ve ever eaten. I heard about this restaurant from friends and finally tried it. We placed our order and it was brought out to us with enthusiasm and a smile. There were 2 other parties in the restaurant and we began a quick conversation about this place being a hidden treasure, yep it’s that good. I will definitely go back and there is one in Portsmouth too. Just great.

Everything we ordered were good except for the milk tea. The milk teas were powdery. Maybe, they need more shaking or something. Takoyaki was good, but the dough was a bit too soft. Absolutely delicious. The chicken is crunchy and juicy without overdoing the crunch. I got the deluxe sandwich and it was so good. I’ll definitely add a sauce next time. My husband got the soy garlic deluxe sandwich and the sauce added so much flavor. He also ordered the granny smith lemonade and he swears it’s the best drink he’s ever had. We’ll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. The only thing I would like to see is a kids meal option but we got our daughter chicken bites, fries and apple juice and it was a hit the coffee was strong but okay, I got a mocha macchiato. The fries were fantastic.

I have pretty high standards for Korean fried chicken, and this absolutely hit the mark. The sweet and savory sauce is not *quite* yangnyeom chicken you’d find in Korea but is about 90% there. The medium chicken bites are HUGE and very well priced, and the service was so fast! The chicken itself is cooked beautifully, fried well, and not dry at all. I’m so impressed with CNR and I’m already planning my trip back. Thank you for brightening my trip to Chesapeake 🙂

Ordering online at ToastTab fast and easy, order was prepared in a swift 10 minutes. Pork dumplings were very good – standard dumplings, nothing special, but as good as you could expect. CNR Chicken Sandwich delicious and massive – very nice and crispy chicken, perfectly cooked and prepared, good sauce. Same to be said about unique Katsu Chicken Sandwich. Sandwiches maybe lacking a little flavor/could use more sauce, but that’s an easy remedy.

We love the original location, and were THRILLED when we realized another one was opening closer to home. No sushi at Chesapeake, but that’s understandable with Daikichi around the corner. Quality is exactly the same as the OG—fry game is absolutely on point, nothing has ever been greasy, under-, or over- cooked. A combo with a massive sandwich, fries, and a drink runs about the same as you’d pay at a fast food place, but for more food at a MUCH higher quality. I love that we recognized the chef/owner from the kitchen, and can’t even be mad that she’s taking all my lunch money. Happy to support an incredible local restaurant!
