Bad experience here. I ordered Spicy Deluxe….and they brought to me the original chicken sandwich, no cheese, no tomato, no lecture. While I took back to the cashier for exchange and they cleaned out my table when I was still eating French fried and soft drink. Came on May 06 and really disappointed since I visited a lot of chick fil a restaurant in Houston area.

I didn’t want to leave a bad review, but this Chick-fil-a earned it. About 2-3 weeks ago Portland traffic was backed up to the Motel 6 on the causeway. I had the kids and it was getting late. I knew I was going to have to take the Odem way back into town as a friend of mine sat in traffic for 2 hours. My kids love Chick-fil-a so I thought it would be a nice treat since it would be a longer drive. I ordered a gluten free grilled chicken sandwich with bacon. I believe a number 7. About half way to Odem I finally got to settle in a take a bite, and found my sandwich with out meat. I called, upset , but the manager assured the next time I come she would make it right. Well tonight was the night. We were coming home late and we decided to grab chick-fil-a. They found my make up order and promptly got it to me. Well it was supposed to be gluten free and it was a breaded chicken breast. This isnt a preference this is a n allergy. Been here twice and they jacked up my order twice. Never again!

I order salads here a couple times a week and they are usually great. I did find mold on some of the produce on this last order though. After notifying them about the issue and recommending they check the rest of the pre-made salads I was thanked for my feedback only. I was disappointed they didn’t offer to replace my order but to be honest I will still eat here as it’s the only one in the area. Just check your food before consuming.

Came in for carry out and I received a little over half full container of fries. These would barely be called medium fries, let alone the large that I ordered. Usually they do well but they fell pretty short this time.

Pretty displeased with whatever is going on with the franchise in Portland, TX. The workers were courteous, not a problem there. But if you stop in on the way to work, you ABSOLUTELY CANNOT trust that you will get out of the drive-thru in a timely fashion. Very scattered. I am from Atlanta and this IS NOT it, y’all. There needs to be some type of retraining. I know workers are few, but there are organizations thst go to Chick-fil-A for training… so please love up to your corporate expectations. My last visit, they were put of Coke (I have never seen that woth CFA, ever). I do not give poor reviews in general. This had to be noted.

We ordered Chick-n-Minis and Burrito for breakfast. Tasty breakfast! We ordered online and picked it up at the drive-thru window. The only downside is having to wait on other vehicles needing to make new to-go orders when we are ready to pick up our order which is ready.

I went with friends to learn what was so great about the classic chicken sandwich. I am not a fast food regular unless it is rotisserie, and my preference is dark meat. However,…I get the hype with this one. I understand the fandom with this simple classic sandwich and their special sauce . It was juicy, well seasoned and everything complemented each other. The pickles, the sauce, the chicken and the brioche bun. Will I go back? . That will be my top choice in fun foods (not very healthy, but enjoyable). Glad they offer crispy kale as a side dish option so I don’t have to eat the fries that come with the combo. I also had their iced tea. No complaints, but not spectacular…got half sweet and unsweetened and was very happy with this simple meal. I forgot to take a photo of the sandwich. Only remembered to do it after the fact.

This is our least favorite Chick-fil-A in the area. We usually stop in for dinner after little league games. The dining room is always a mess and trashes overflowing-but they are hiring and fairly new so I’ll give them a pass for now. Food is good-as usual, no complaints there.

This is the second time that my wife and I stop by on a business trip on the way to a different city. We live in Houston and we have our favorite Chick-fil-A locations there. Just like the Chick-fil-A places we like to visit in Houston, this one is outstanding. The food is great, customer service is wonderful, and the place is generally clean. Whether you live here or are simply driving by, you will not be disappointed.
