First time here and it was better than I could have expected. It was a busy Saturday lunch time but we were able to order pretty quickly. Everyone working there was really friendly. The place was super clean. The atmosphere was just great. I was excited by the first impressions. And then… The food was fantastic. I got a Cubano, Empanadas and tres leches cake. Everything was wonderful. The Cubano had a generous amount of meat. The pork was super tender. The empanadas tasted great and were a good size. Good price for 2 of them. I will definitely be returning here to try more of their food!

We ordered Cubano sandwich, ropa vieja plate and a side of fried plantains. Everything was very good as well as the service and atmosphere…clean place. Lots of Cubans eating there which speaks to the authenticity

Loved the pizza and the sides. People were nice and polite. The only thing I felt a bit weird is that as soon as we entered the lady at counter said” it’s Cuban, you will get Cuban food here”. It was as if she thought we came in by mistake. I couldn’t understand. Also there were some stares. I don’t know if that’s normal, But I didn’t mind since overall everyone was polite. Food was good too.

I have a laundry list of praises for Chicho. To start off the service was impeccable,the restaurant was spotless and so well decorated and the TASTE of authentic Cuban cuisine. Chicho is a piece of Cuba in Austin, which you have to visit and for sure, just like me, you will want to return

this place is the bomb the food is really really good and the costumer service is on top because everyone is really nice and stuff. i had the pizza and it tasted like heaven it was the beat pizza i’ve ever had. if your in Austin Texas and you want to try cuban food this is the place.

Thank you so much Chichos finally,Coming from Miami, it’s been really hard finding a good Cuban spot in Austin This location, even with a short menu hits it out of the park with the flavor from home!they know what they’re doing.The pastries are authentic and you got it try the ham croquettes AMAZING and service is great. the owner wish to grow her menu as time goes on. Well worth the trip and and effort to this little gem. WILL DEFINITELY come back again!!!!
