Went in for dessert, had strawberry shortcake and “The Pileup. Both were good. The pileup had mixed nuts, a browne, ice cream, chocolate and carmel sauces and was my favorite of the two.

Had a great meal here last night! My husband and I split the Delmonico steak dinner. It was delicious and done perfectly! Everything was delicious….salad, rolls, green beans and potato. We also had the sweetest server…Katelyn. She was attentive and couldn’t have been nicer!!!!!

Food was delicious but way, way, way overpriced! Service was fair to good, a little forgetful, but once reminded, we got our straws and lemon slices eventually. The atmosphere is very nice but dated. I wouldn’t go here for steak because you can get a filiet mignon down the block at cowpokes for half the price. Steak prices here are outrageous at 8oz filet for sixty buckaroos! I had fettuccine alfredo with blackened chicken, and it was phenomenal but pricey at thirty something! Escargot was too salty, raw oysters were fresh. Burger was good quality made of short ribs, angus beef, and brisket, but you are going to pay dearly for it at eiteen plus two extra if you want cheese. I would go again only if it was an extremely special event. I would come more often if the prices were a bit more fair, like maybe 20 percent cheaper.

We ate here with friends who were staying in the hotel. I always check the menu for French Onion Soup. As you can see, at Chicane’s, it is literally over-the-top! It definitely sets a new standard in my FOS quest!

The ambiance is nice but the menu and quality of the food is unfortunately not worth the price. So many better options in the area.

Food was good, service excellent, the restaurant is nicely decorated, very chic and classic. We got the view of the lake. I felt really good. The only thing for me is that the booths seats are too far from the tables so it was uncomfortable to eat as my back hurt.

We’ve had Chicanes on our list of restaurants to try for a while now. We finally had the time to go. We were both excited to try it. The atmosphere is amazing!! I love the design!! Floors, tables, chairs, bar stools ect. It reminded me of Old Hollywood in the 20’s, tucked in the back like an old speakeasy. Beautiful!! It’s on the lake, making our seats that much better. I’ve got to stop there though. Not a fan of their food. It’s a typical, over priced “fancy” food that’s just prepared differently & has a fancy name to make it sound better than just a plain ole cheeseburger. Food wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t as good as I made my mind up for it to be. We’ll definitely give it another try. Don’t want to try it once & make our minds up that we don’t like it.
