This place is a hidden gem, I’m pretty sure I had better deep dish here than when I was in Chicago. I’ll be honest, the fries were lackluster, but I’d order every pizza off their menu. The staff was friendly and professional. The place was clean. We had the lobo pizza, large was enough for 2 adult with left overs for both.

I’m a huge fan of a good pan pizza. This place was really good and the drive through service was excellent. We weren’t too sure about the sauce hiding all the topping so we got a True Chicago pizza and a regular specialty pizza. Both were to die for! We will definitely be going here more often.

If I could leave no stars I would the owner of this restaurant is beyond disrespectful. They don’t value their customers at all. I wanted to get a refund for a pizza I did not eat because it wasn’t edible yet the manager refuses to give me my money back. They call themselves Chicago style They know nothing about authentic Chicago food.

Oh man, this pizza is THE pizza to have when you’re craving a good ‘ol Chicago slice! The people inside were super chill and my pie came out super hot and savory! Plus, the cheesy bread sticks had that super satisfying crunch to them I’ll definitely be back many times for sure!

A very solid pizza kitchen so far, if not a bit average (which, well, is far above average for Albuquerque). We had a large Chicago-style margarita pizza. It was a little deep but not deep enough to call it a deep-dish pizza — and they don’t either. It was pretty good and I expect we’ll be back for more. The crust was perhaps the best part, being the thick, greasy, crunchy kind — one of the various types I like. The amount and quality of basil, however, was fairly lacking with chopped bits of basil leaf here and there leaving no bite with a nice kick of basil that a margarita should give. Seemed lacking on tomato slices as well. Source some better ingredients and don’t skimp on them — even when you get to hide them under the under the sauce on a Chicago style — and I could easily bump this up another star (maybe two, depending). But, given the lazy environment here, I doubt they’ll reach for it. They appear to be happy with middle of the road with middle prices… and I’m good with that. It won’t keep me away (especially since we don’t have a big budget). For example, half their seating is roped off (even on a Friday night); thus, you can’t sit next to a window (like I often choose to) unless you’re willing to take the one window booth with the setting sun blasting in (the other window booth is reserved for a vet memorial… okay, whatever, we should remember our veterans). This laziness with cleaning (I guess) and skimping on the basil just screams “Yeah, we’ve become a bit lazy, and we’re good with it. We don’t like dine-ins anyhow.” Okay, note to self, don’t come here to hang out with friends. Bummer.

They had only one customer facing employee, so we had to wait a while for water, and then when the food finally came out, it was at least 10 more minutes until we got the plates and a way to cut the pizza that we asked for.

Met the wonderful Mr. Cameron Wednesday night. Honestly, could have messed up my order and would have not cared in the slightest! Although our interaction was short, it was oh so very sweet! P.S. the pizza (true veggie) was delicious. – Tati

Placed my order by phone. Was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived at the drive through 20 minutes later. Signed the check and added a tip to the total. THEN was told it would be about 4 minutes more. 12 minutes later the manager, Mr. Cameron, opened the window with my pie. When I complained about how long it took, he dismissed me with; “I’m short staffed.” And slammed the window closed. No apology. I won’t be back! What has happened with customer service these days?

Chicago Pizza Kitchen is a true delight for pizza lovers! From the moment I walked into the restaurant, I was struck by the warm, inviting atmosphere, and the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked pizza. The decor was rustic and charming, with red and white checkered tablecloths and vintage photographs adorning the walls. But, the real star of the show was the pizza!
