The first thing you get is how magnificent the place is. Very high end decor that said the price of the food equals the taste of the decor. Kay was our sever and provided us with a world-class service. Attentive, and courteous his attention to detail and his knowledge of the menu surprised and delighted me. All in all, it was an exquisite evening for us. She had the tofu snow pea mushrooms, and I had the peppered fried pork, their egg drop soup and their fried wonton, were some of the best I have had. Certainly some of the best I’ve ever had in the casino. Oh the jasmine tea paired well our meal.

The atmosphere and service were great. The food however is very disappointing. I would understand the price given it being in a casino if the food stood up to its promise. We eat at biminis for special occasions and are always really happy with the quality. We decided to try something different this time and I would not recommend this at all. There are take out Chinese places that will deliver with way better quality food at a fraction of the cost. This was just sad, salty and mediocre at best. I would recommend biminis for a really nice meal, I would also recommend you skip Chi it’s a waist of money.

Some of the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. My partner and I both had the market price lobster at $90 each. The lobster was over cooked arrived so slimy with corn starch. It was almost impossible to handle. I had a few bites and discarded the rest. Just gross! appetizer platter was satisfying but it’s not hard to screw up deep fried foods. We are locals, and will never return.

It is my husband birthday, so we spent the weekend in Reno, Nevada. The décor was an imperial elegance of red/gold silk. The lemon cocktails were simple but strong. My husband enjoyed his braised duck and seasoned greens. I was so impressed with my meal! I ordered the whole live Maine Lobster Steamed was spot on. I wish to give this restaurant a 6 Star review.

The absolute worst chinese food in Reno. They boil their ribs! I didn’t think anyone did that anymore. I finally got my mom to stop doing that. Alot of the food is in half pans and it’s order up like buffet food. The deep fry stuff like the orange chicken are these huge chunks of meat. You can taste the freezer burn in the meat in the wonton soup. The place is beautifully done, but it smells like an ashtray. I feel sorry for the people who write good reviews because they have never had good Chinese food. The price does not match the quality of the food. The service is irrelevant because it’s just lipstick on a nasty pig. Cruise ship chinese food is better. Guys, if you are reading this for a place to have good Chinese, go to Jasmine in Reno.
