Stopped by the Loves in Madera, California. I got the Free Drivers Thanksgiving Dinner. It was hot & fresh.! This is the only Chester’s where the chicken was good & potatoes were fully cooked. A nice Loves with clean showers. I will stop there again.!

I can not believe they charge $2.50 for less than a handful of mashed potatoes… And why would wouldvthey sell a COMBO meal NO drink included. I am so very disappointed in what will be my 1st and last visit here. I do not recommend this place.

I got the livers and he made them fresh. But he put them in a bag and the oil from them made the bag break. I lost About half of them on the way to my truck.

Went there today. Called in my order and asked if someone could bring it out to me, as it is hard for me to walk. They came out and collected over $28 dollars plus I tipped the girl. After bringing out my order. I believe if was a manager he said that they could never bring out my order again. He was rude. I don’t plan on going there again. This is not what I would have expected from Chester’s. Just wanted to let the owner know. Don’t feel that it was necessary for him to be so rude I mean there are people like me that are handicapped and it’s difficult for us to get in and out of their car and after spending that kind of money I didn’t think it was such a big deal I mean I feel like they should have a pickup or something where they come out and pick up the money from you and bring the order it’s just my own opinion that’s all I have to say I just won’t be going there anymore!

I wanted fried chicken so bad. So I drove 20 minutes to get here! Google says the close at 10. I get here at 930 and everything is being cleaned up. I ask the guy cleaning if he has any chicken at all and he says no! Please fix you hrs of operation.

This was the 2nd time I have came here for some of my favorite fried chicken and left again after being told it’s a 20 minute wait for chicken… imagine going to taco bell and it’s a 20 min wait for tacos everytime…won’t go back again .. horrible management

100% hands down the best stop for food on the road- I was thinking it’s like any other place on the 99 but now it’s become a destination stop between trips. Check it out you won’t regret (fried okra was the bomb)

Really want to give more stars because the chicken is delicious but…. the mashed potatoes…. gross, texture literally like glue, someone added a binding agent, probably flour, and otherwise no flavor except salt and thats an understatement. Bought a big pot because I love mashed potatoes but one bite of these and into the trash they went. I won’t be back, thats for certain!
