Road Trip pitshop landed us here and it was worth it!!! The food was well prepared and fresh and staffers we’re friendly! That was some of the best fried chicken and fried liver we’ve had since relocating to Texas! Add Chester’s to your quick foods hit list,now!

I wouldn’t eat here again. I had the gizzard and liver. The menu stated for small size is 2.99. When the lady rang me up she told me it was 4.50. I told her to look at the menu but she said well the POS says 4.50. Then I asked her how much is the price for large size. She said 4.99. Seriously! I took the large and unfortunately had to waste the food since it was not so great. Service was also lacking in this place.

I love Chester’s chicken, and, as a truck driver, this location is where i usually stop to get my chicken by around 9:30 PM. However, they’ve been closing earlier than usual. I’ve even tried to get there by 9 PM and to my disappointment they are already cleaning up for the night with no chicken left for sale. To think that sometimes i’d get there by 10PM and i’d still get my chicken. Is it a new schedule or is it the new workers rushing to go home? This is really messed up for me……damn, i love my Chester’s chicken.

They should close Chester’s, and put something else in it’s place. Be nice if they would actually serve chicken up till 10 pm , when its supposed to close. I’ve stopped in twice this week between 7:30 & 8:00 and they had was a couple of stale biscuits and 5 or 6 potato wedges, this is the worst Chester’s in the country.

Chesters chicken is a mostly truck stop chicken joint, truckers refer to it as the worst chicken on the interstate. The fry and crust is good along with the piece size but, IT’S GOT NO FLAVOR. BLAH & BLAND.

To be honest – This place SUCKS!! The service was horrible. They didn’t have any jalapenos or Louisiana hot sauce. The chicken was fried in old grease. I won’t be returning here.
