We visited on July 4th and were seated immediately. Our server was friendly and professional. Food was excellent. Bar Harbor was utter chaos, but we had a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon. Totally memorable experience that probably can’t be repeated. Happy Independence Day!

I really enjoyed my fish and chips at Cherrystone’s. The fish was seasoned well and cooked nicely, although a tiny bit on the dry side. The fries were excellent and I’m not into fries that much. I sat on the patio and was treated to a musician playing in the park across the street, which made it all the better. The service was excellent, once I got some. Had to wait forever to get seated and be given a menu and something to drink. The 3 stars reflect the price gouging and bad service upon entering the place. I think their prices are way too high, even for Bar Harbor.

Decent place, came up here from CT and saw they had an early bird special. We both got the Cadillac with lobster rolls and clam chowder. The lobster was plentiful but a little too much Mayo, while the chowder was good. Our waitress was incredibly nice and very tentative. Only thing was that our table wasn’t wiped down and the prices were kind of crazy. Really only worth it for the early bird special, wouldn’t dine here for regular.

Great location in town. Live Music could be heard across the street as a bonus. The patio area is the way to go. I had a lobster roll for $34 that was good, not great. Bread got soggy on the bottom and the sandwich then is difficult to manage. Onion rings on par with anyplace that does them. The fish and chip fish portion was extremely generous. The single piece we got looked like an entire fish.

Service at the bar was great, food was excellent! The patio is a great place to people watch and is very comfortable. This was a big lunch, and delicious, I would have ate here again but we only stayed a couple days. Food came out hot and quickly and was a higher quality than average bar food. The bartender was attentive but didn’t stop by too many times and was proactive and thoughtful of our needs.

This was a real disappointment order got lost and the way they addressed, was here no evil see no evil, poor communication. Manger had to come from an sister property to talk to us about the poor communication and I’ve an hour wait while others ordered and received there food at adjacent tables. The manager comped our food but it was one of the worst cooked seafood I have had in a while shrimp scallops and lobster was over cooked. The veggies were way under cooked. Rice was just a side of stuff provided. We had a poor meal in an area that highlights poor quality. Bar harbor and Mount Desert Island has great seafood, this was bad and in comparison captain D’s it was just a bit better. I am not sure we received what we order but had to accept our disappointment and move on.
