First time ordering. I ordered through door dash. I didn’t receive my collards and that is really what I wanted. Had to get refund through door dash. Pork chops smothered with gravy and onions and mushrooms are very good. Bake beans was excellent. Disappointed in the macaroni and cheese as well as the cornbread. First time ordering Cherry-O’s since I pass by it everyday and I was not disappointed. The yams are sweet and yummy. The Mac and cheese is creamy and the baked beans were flavorful. The portions are big and i got full on those alone. The whiting and fried shrimp were decent. I’ll definitely order again and hopefully will have the same experience (:

I wasn’t able to go home for the holidays during the height of covid and Ms. Cherry made sure I had a home cooked Christmas dinner. I ordered a small dressing but she gave me a large anyway. I’ll never forget that. Thanks so much for providing comfort during a difficult time!

I came yesterday 3/19/22 the food was HORRIBLE. The food was dry and way UNDER seasoned … these genius put my “cold” potato salad with my HOT food and it now became out potato salad.. everyone knows you should keep them separate. I ordered two dinners one fish plate and one chicken dinner. The fished was sooooooooo DRY n had no seasoning what so ever the chicken was the same… ive wen to the north location twice last week food was really good…. The hampton location is TRASHHHHHHH… i wont come back for this nasty food

The meals I’ve had were fresh and you can tell were prepared with love. I am not a fan of soul food in particular but I enjoy the fried chicken here. My son loves the sweet potato pie and jacks.

This place was good! My coworker told me to visit this place, and as always, she didn’t disappoint. I had the fried chicken wings with Mac and cheese and yams…. My lips are still smacking away while writing this review. I can honestly say this is as close to home as I’ll get. This food takes me back to the days as a kid. I’ll definitely be visiting this little hole in a wall again.

First of all the Cherry O Lemonade is sooo yummy!!!! I wanted to go back for a refill!! Ordered 3 different breakfast meals. Clearly 2 of us couldn’t wait for a picture to be taken. The home fries are wonderful just how my mom always made them with onions and peppers. The pancakes, French toast, eggs, sausage, and fried apples were very good!! Will definitely go back. Small business be patient and wait for your hot fresh food!!

The food here is to die for and the employees and owners are so hospitable. I definitely recommend you try the fried apples. They are not overly sweet but they’re delicious. The owners said hello and that they were happy to see us like they’ve known us for years. And the prices were great!!! My family and I had a great experience.

The food is made fresh. We have tried several items and everything is delicious. We picked up a dinner for someone else and they said that it was THE BEST liver and onions they’ve ever tasted! Only wish Norfolk location sold liver and onions meal. I do suggest calling ahead because it can be a wait since they make everything to order. The wait is worth it though. Will be a customer for a long time.
