First time trying this place. Leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered plain lo mein for my kid (spaghetti noodles) and a beef n broccoli for myself. I’m somewhat of a foodie. I know there’s many different types of noodles but this wasn’t lo mein. The egg roll was okay. And I loked the fried rice..there wasn’t a lot of beef but maybe that was good for me haha..pretty sure I have food poisoning.

I ordered Cantonese Chicken, which is supposed to be dark meat. Chicken breaded and fried with vegetables and thick golden chicken grazy. I received white meat chicken the same you would get with sweet and sour chicken.

I ordered the Honey Chicken and not sure what I got, but it was flat and rubbery. I thought when I looked at it it was calamari but I’m not that lucky. Not sure what it was except that it was a $15 waste. Egg rolls very well done but edible, and if you like your teriyaki Chicken sticks well done (black), then I highly recommend them.

My favorite Chinese restaurant just closed,this was our 1st time ordering from here. Ordered 3 cheese wontons and a beef with broccoli combo meal. The wontons were so hard and chewy we couldn’t eat them, none of the 3 orders. They looked almost burnt and tasted awful. The beef with broccoli was good, egg roll okay, fried rice was not great but okay. Paid $26 and had to throw away all the wontons, didn’t eat rice, only ate beef with broccoli. Drove 35 mins just to get food here. Times like they are, I’m upset I wasted so much money on food we couldn’t eat. If not so far a drive I would had drove back, showed the wontons, and either requested a refund or fresh ones. I’ve only ever left 1 other neg review in my life, this will be my 2nd. I do not recommend.

I had a wonderful shrimp with cashew dish for lunch and still have half leftover for my supper. Very fresh and very crunchy veggies in it. Plenty of rice. The people at Chen’s were very friendly. I’m going back for shrimp and cashew next week.
