“Wok Hei” translates to “breath of the wok.” It’s something that I look for when eating at Chinese restaurants – and this place has it! It’s the smoky flavor that comes only from using jet engine burners, a scorching wok, and a good wok-flipping wrist – it’s difficult to replicate at home as 99.9% of home kitchens don’t have this kind of burner power. Give it a try to see what I mean! I ordered the General Tso’s Tofu, for reference.

Fast. Priced reasonably. Good. Generally the type of fare you’d expect from an American Chinese take-out.

First of all I waited two hours for my food to get delivered to me and it came cold. The chicken wings was little and fried extra hard. Also I ordered a chicken and broccoli and there was no sauce with the meal the shrimp roll also came with one shrimp! They expect a tip as well and they have very bad customer service!

Have ordered from here before, never had an issue. Unfortunately todays order was overall lacking flavor. The rice, no flavor. Steamed dumplings had more dough than usual. Pork lo-mein had no flavor. Either I have covid or am pregnant, (better chance of being covid!) Husband did agree there was no flavor.

The food is not as good as it use to be. Once the owner’s retired and handed down the business to their children, the entire dynamic of the food and their robust flavors not only lacked, but you can tell the chicken (general tsos chicken and sweet and sour pork and sweet and sour chicken), down to the pork fried rice, was frozen and then deep fried, hard to chew, the rice dry and lacked flavor, the pork was super dry. It has been 6 months since I’ve been back and I actually found another local Chinese food establishment who has better prices with fresh delicious food.

The Chinese food at this spot never disappoints. I ordered the House Special Chow Fun, Kung Pao Shrimp, and Orange Chicken. Every single item tasted splendid, and they have very nice staff. Overall, I highly recommend this place 🙂

I ordered almost $40 worth of food and everything was over cooked. I had sweet and sour shrimp but there were no shrimps just hard deep fried batter that almost cut the top of my mouth when I tried bitting in. Chicken wings seemed like they were old and re fried. Shrimp egg roll had one tiny tiny tiny little shrimp. Never again.

This place was quiet when I arrived, greeted warmly and took order when I was ready. Prices are good and food is good. I’ll return.
