I would really give it 4.5 stars. We were pleasantly surprised with how good it was. And the live singer they had – well I was skeptical. That is hard to pull off. But I have to say that I was a real fan at the end. He did an amazing job. He is worth seeing. There is a Vegas lounge feeling since all of the tables are right by the bar, so there isn’t a separate dining room. And we were hoping for Italian, and there was only 1 special pasta dish with olives, so if you want Italian, go to the standard Sorrentos downstairs. This menu is more steak, seafood, and sushi. We asked if we could order pasta from the other restaurant (in the same bldg) and we were told no, which was fine. The food we got was all very good. The foccaccia bread was great too. They have a special dessert guy doing flamed desserts, which is cool. Then they did say we could have desserts from the downstairs menu! Oh well.

Loved our evening at Chefs Table. I had one of the daily specials. Drinks were delicious. Place was pack. Definitely need a reservation especially on weekends. Safe was attentive. They had live music while we were dining. Made our dining even better.

We always go to Artisanal for our anniversary. This year We decided to try something new after reading about jazz night at the Chef’s table.

My friends and I come here often, we love the atmosphere and the music! The staff is friendly and accommodating! Taylor was our waiter and he was AWESOME! Funny, attentive and fun. We dined here this past weekend and I was slightly disappointed. The menu changes often, which is not a bad thing, but this time around we didn’t love it. No one ordered apps because we did not like any of them. We ended up sharing some sushi rolls which were delish! Our main course was good as well. Dessert was entertaining to watch but not the best- dulce de leche crepes, really were not made with dulce de leche. Again, slightly disappointed on the menu but we enjoyed each others company. Some of our friends mentioned the lack of bourbon choices they had and that it was pricey for mediocre bourbon.

I felt it was overpriced for the quality of the food. I had the tuna which by itself was good. It came with a side of white rice that was as about as plain as it sounds. My wife had the sea bass that came with mashed potatoes and 4 aspargus. All very bland. Each dish was about $45 each. Add an appetizer, a couple of salads and a bottle of wine (nice wine selection) and it was around $240 for dinner. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m perfectly ok with paying for great food, service and atmosphere. But it was kind of expensive for just an average (and I think I’m being generous) experience.

Such a nice find in Banner Elk. Great service especially Ally and Rachel. Food and wine just amazing. Our group had a nice evening here with veal, shrimp, and chicken dishes. Recommend.

Not going to take the time to go into too much detail but in general, not what it should be and not quite what we were expecting. Tiny salt and pepper shakers on the table was the 2nd clue. 1st clue was bringing not quite completely cooked bread and calling it a gift from the chef. It was accompanied by a bottle of oil and a bottle of vinegar… mix it yourself if you like, but there wasn’t a dish to mix it in. Cook temps were perfect but overall flavor was lacking on both of our entrees. Credit card fee added on. Not terrible but we won’t return and can’t recommend.

Food and drinks were great. Service was a bit slow but they were very crowded. Only nit was our daily special salads were advertised as having artichokes but didn’t. If they ran out they should tell you!

It took 45 minutes for our server to retrieve our cocktails, dinner came out at different times, cold dishes etc. Service has not been good for a while. Used to really live this place.

Our server was Gabby & she was excellent. We here are for a couple of days & decided to stop by for a nicer meal. We ordered 3 courses and dessert after & everything was amazing. No complaints what so ever. Felix seated us and made our Flambé dessert in front of us & he was absolutely wonderful and full of energy. As I mentioned we are only here for a few more days but this place was good enough to come back a second time during our short stay. The food & service was excellent 10/10
