I’m not usually a fan of buffets, so I’m a bit of a “hard sell” for them. WOW! Was I surprised! We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Chef’s followed the next week by a fabulous dinner! The atmosphere is nicer family friendly & perfect for a date night! The food was delicious, & the service was superb! We will be back many times!

I have gone to all of the Brazilian steakhouse chains and the quality of Chefs is on patch with all of them for a third of the price. The food is great, the price is great and the ambiance in the main dining room is nice. Another great feature is the kids areas. A small theater and Xbox ones for the older kids. I cannot reccomend this place enough.

The main salad bar was the only attraction. Although the mashed potatoes had a very funky taste. I was extremely turned off by the solicitations placed on the table to attend a specific church. In my opinion, those brochures have no place in a restaurant. We chose the Italian station. It was mediocre. I could have made the same fettuccine alfredo at home along with the spaghetti. For the price point, Lake City has several options that would please the pallet, include a nice glass of wine and the tip.

Most buffets leave me a little dissatisfied with either the taste or the selection but not at Chefs! I enjoyed everything I choose from the buffet bar and all was very flavorful! And then all the Brazilian meats were over the top! I can honestly admit that I have become a customer for life!

I usually don’t write reviews but, the hostess was very nice and helpful, waitress was great (Courtney Padgett) had a wonderful attitude and pleasant. I know you his is supposed to be a upscale restaurant but the long aprons are just a trip hazard and waitresses look uncomfortable. I also think the idea of tip share is unfair to the good waitresses, and to have the managers walk around looking like the own the place and the owner be dressed slouchy and unprofessional. Looking thru the Brazilian meat window the guy named Joey coughing into his hand no gloves and back to handling meat with out and hand washing or sanitizer, walking out to dining room handling phone and picking up trash no hand washing then either, no problem with food or service, just careless employees, and hot bar girls fussing about each other in front of customer. Overall I will be back hopefully they can get a handle on employees.

This place has good food, however they can’t seem to settle on the prices for their buffet. The first time I went it was $9.99 plus the Brazilian for and additional $4.99. The kids who were over 5 were 1/2 the price of an adult buffet and my kid under 5 was free. Ever since then, I’ve yet to see the same prices. The second time we went, just the husband and I…it was $10.99+$4.99. The most recent was Saturday, we took the kids again. We got asked the ages of each kid, the norm. We got out ticket and was charged $9.99 for everyone, including the youngest child who just a week and a half ago was free. On top of that, we got stuck with the most miserable server known to man. When I asked our server Ann about our cost, she snatched my receipt out of my hand. I drive from Gainesville to visit this place, but after that….I will probably never go back.

Had lunch with my mom here. I had the Brazilian!! Let me just say that all of the food was fabulous!! All the staff was great and friendly. Will be coming back soon. Best restaurant in Lake City or the Gainesville area. A must place to eat!!
