Chef’s Kitchen is a standout addition to Norfolk’s dining scene, offering a touch of elegance, warmth, and robust flavors. I appreciated the dress code and adults-only policy, making it an ideal spot for a romantic date or a night out with friends in a cozy bar setting. The menu offered a good variety of options, and our server’s recommendations were spot-on, leaving us fully satisfied. The dimly lit ambiance, tasteful artwork, and subtle greenery created a charming and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive to our every need, enhancing the overall experience. I cannot believe no one told me about this hidden gem!!! I’ve been to many restaurants in many different places but this one right here is by far one of my ultimate favorites!! I was surprised with dinner here for my anniversary and I must say this was quite an amazing experience!! There’s such a nice atmosphere here and it’s very chill, yet has some elegance and culture to it! The music played is very smooth as well! Now to my most favorite part, THE FOOD!! Y’all, I think I almost cried eating this food. I had the salmon egg rolls first as an appetizer and they weren’t delicious!! I don’t know how the chef made salmon taste that good and flavourful but they did! That creamy Cajun sauce was the icing on the cake!! For the entree, I had the seafood Mac with the lobster tail! My goodness!!! I couldn’t stop humming and dancing because that food was so doggone good!! As a fellow foodie, I felt as if the flavors of the food took over me and I’m not playing! I was on cloud nine up in here eating! I highly recommend this place and I will be back!! I had the BEST waitress there is! I’ve had all types of experience with customer service and I must say that Trensiya was most certainly the best I’ve encountered! Whenever I visit, I only want her! She was the most polite, attentive, considerate, and sweetest person ever! She made this experience even more enjoyable and was very knowledgeable! I have certainly find my new favorite fine dining place!

The food and service here was excellent. We had the caesar salad and the bisque to start. Both were delicious. A lot of people don’t do caesar dressing right, but this one was perfect with just a little kick. Then we had the blackened red snapper and the short ribs. Everything on the plates was perfect. We finished with the fried banana pudding. It’s different than banana pudding, but the flavors are there and we both liked it. Definitely try this restaurant!

We had an amazing waiter named Tristan who made the experience lovely. We started with appetizers and tried the garlic Parmesan fries as well as the fried calamari. For dinner, one of my friends and I had the lamb, and my other friend had the jerk penne pasta with chicken. We enjoyed everything and will definitely return to try some desserts and drinks. The sauce with the lamb was amazing. We also tried a side of the seafood Mac which was extremely tasty. Only thing I would recommend is turning the music down; it was a little loud for me, but I think we were right under the speaker; however I still liked the music. Overall a wonderful experience, will definitely be coming back.

Recently visited for the first time. I sat at the bar and was pleased to discover that I had arrived during happy hour! Great service and my food was delicious. Would like to see a few of the cocktails on the happy hour menu at some point, but overall was a great experience.

Superb Restaurant! Love the ambiance and decor, very intimate feel at night. Hostess and server were great, attentive and polite. THE FOOD IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. Very flavorful and great portions, couldn’t even finish everything. We ordered 2 orders of the Wings appetizer( They were that good), Seafood Mac &Cheese and Jerk pasta with chicken. Man I can’t wait to go back to try more items. Definitely a spot worth visiting.

My sister and I went here for our monthly “sister Saturday”. This is a nice quaint restaurant with a dope ambiance. Our waitress, Trensiya, was so sweet. She checked in on us periodically but not to point where we couldn’t enjoy our time there. The drinks and food was so delicious. If you’re ever in the area or just looking for a nice place to go, I highly recommend Chef’s Kitchen and Cocktails.

Date Night with the hubby. I decided to surprise him by taking him to Chef’s Kitchen. I made reservations to be on the safe side. When we first walked into the establishment I noticed the rustic brick with an urban decor. The ambiance was romantic perfect for a date night. The staff was amazing, service was prompt. We had the salmon roll as our appetizer. I ordered the lamb chops and asparagus with the oscar crab on top with mashed potatoes. My husband had lobster Macaroni and cheese. The portion size was plentiful. We will definitely dine again!!

My wife and I had an AMAZING experience dining at Chef’s Kitchen and Cocktails tonight! We were able to make reservations for two(the same day), and we loved that its an adults-only restaurant. We were greeted promptly by the host and seated in a nice corner in the back. We also had an amazing waitress, who was very attentive to our needs. Now… the food and drinks! We arrived right before Happy Hour, so we were able to order salmon bites, tequila and my wife ordered lemon drops. For dinner I ordered the Seafood (Lobster & Shrimp)Mac N Cheese and my wife ordered the Jerk Pasta with Shrimp. We also enjoyed the banana pudding (which was fried!! OMG delicious) with ice cream! You guys everything was 10/10, top tier, DELICIOUS! This was honestly the best food I’ve had since I’ve been in VA. Great southern-style food, thats seasoned well. We gave our compliments to the chef, who came out to greet us, which was very nice. We will definitely be back to dine again!
