Really, really glad to see this addition to the restaurant scene in Mooresville….we definitely needed some good BBQ! Overall, the BBQ was excellent. Prices seem a touch high compared to a traditional North Carolina BBQ joint, but not unreasonable for higher end BBQ, which this definitely is. The atmosphere is fine…it’s the old Salty Caper space and they’ve done a nice job with it. It was a little weird when I visited, as there wasn’t any background music playing at all and you could hear others conversations…but I think they maybe just forgot to turn it on. Overall great food and I will be back.

So great to have this unique place close to home. The food is excellent and pricing is reasonable. The brisket is so flavorful and tender. The sweet potato chips were crispy and light. Owner is professional, personal & gives back to the community. This is a don’t miss eatery.

Fantastic place! Mac and Cheese is amazing, definitely my favorite out of any restaurant in our area! Pulled pork, brisket, and the smoked chicken have all been excellent. You can tell that they put a lot of care and take pride in the quality of food they serve. 5 stars all around.

This is a nice little BBQ place tucked away off the main drag of Mooresville. We’ve been twice now, and the food is phenomenal! We’ve had the brisket, pulled pork, chicken, and turkey. The sides are also tasty (be sure to try the black-eyed peas Hush Puppies). We love BBQ and are always trying different places. It is more upscale than most BBQ places, thus a bit more pricey.(Plus, it IS Mooresville).Despite that, I’d highly recommend this restaurant!

Stumbled across this place omw to Wendy’s I believe it’s fairly new to the area. Large dine in area. Clean bathrooms friendly wait staff seems family owned. I ordered a 3 meat combo came with 2 sides and cornbread I ordered smoked turkey and brisket…baked beans and Cole slaw. side were okay nothing knocked my socks off but were good. Didn’t regret the carbs. The meat is simply amazing wonderful flavor tender and juicy. They are performing pit magic lol the brisket is fatty but I love it like that. Unsure if you can get lean. 3 sauces all amazing. Good amout of meat for the price. Standard price for good bbq. Definitely check this place out. I’ll be back.

Best brisket I have ever had, and I eat a lot of brisket. The cornbread was also incredible. All around it was an exceptional experience for service, food, and the laid back atmosphere. It physically cannot get any better because it’s already perfect. I plan to be a long time customer!

First time here. Possibly the best brisket I’ve tasted. Not too dry. Not too wet. Not over Smokey. Just right. Some might think it’s a little pricey but meat costs are crazy right now so that should be expected. Definitely worth a visit.

MAYBE I got it on a off day, but it was hands down the worst BBQ I have ever had. VERY VERY dry brisket and chicken. Sides were nothing special or memorable. My wife couldnt even finish hers and she is not a picky eater at all.

Me and my dad stopped in here on a work trip not knowing what too order but the staff helped us order and suggested the “popover” and we were not disappointed at all, the meat was juicy, tender and flavorful!! The homemade bbq sauce was amazing also! The staff were super helpful and friendly!! 10/10 bbq joint!!
