Chef Rose is a must try spot! The jerk chicken is smokey and filled with spices, the boneless jerk is flavorful and a little spicy, try it with a waffle to soak up those amazing flavors the veggies are really well seasoned and the rice was great! Wash it all down with a sorrel ginger and you’ll be craving it all again by the time you finish.

A 45 minute wait (so call ahead and thank me later for not showing up in person and having to wait) but worth the wait. There is a reason this place was given 4.9 stars which is HARD to receive because island people are picky about their food so the reviews are all absolutely correct. The food is delicious.

This place is a must try if you’re in the south Florida area looking for a taste of the island without ever leaving the states. I had the jerk creole oxtail & ackee. It came with a side of veggies & boiled dumpling..when I say that food was good, every bite had kick, sweetness & savory all over. And if you’re a person that cares about the size and portion of oxtail like I do lol you would find this place is not shy of portions as I got full In the first 15 minutes of eating with more then enough left. Mmm Mmm good. There are a million and one Jamaican Restaurants in South Florida but once in a “blue moon” you come upon a gem, a diamond! Fantastic, delicious, well prepared, authentic, hurry up get out the way so meh can eat the food. Food selections I have never seen at any other Jamaican Restaurant. Chef Rose is the real thing plus he’s an educator, teaching folks, sharing his knowledge and experience. The food is not just the bomb, it is nuclear! An explosion of fine ingredients and food prepared far above your expectations.

OMG !! I wish I know where to start!!! But first I must say this food was a gift . My husband bring me here as he was visiting Chef Rose. Bwoii, Let me tell you something you can’t compare his meals to no other food around town and that’s a fact!! my taste buds were running all over my tongue!!! The food is delicious, appealing and very flavorful .. I had the creole Oxtail with rice & peas, steamed veggies and ginger sorrel juice. It was off the chain… As a Jamaican myself I can tell when I experience the real deal when it comes to food. Chef Rose additions are very authentic and he’s super creative with his meals, I was shocked at how great the pumpkin tasted in the oxtail I though it was meat as well not to mention the veggies. He has me coming back the next day and when I tried the lentil soup it was surprisingly awesome I never knew soup with no meat would have me craving. You get plenty of fresh food as it’s made to order. Very clean environment and professional owners. Trust me, this spot will definitely be a favorite of mines!! Thank you, Chef Rose!

True definition of Chef. I came into this restaurant last night I made a purchase of the Jerk chicken dinner. I came back this afternoon and bought oxtails dinner. I told him I like my food with nuff Peppa and he did just that while still making the food so flavorful and not just a mouth full of flame. Prices are very reasonable and affordable. Sheryl at the front order is very respectful and very informative and helpful if needing help choosing a dish. Chef Rose is definitely a must go to when it comes to food. He is very creative with his dishes and knows just how to satisfy the stomachs of the customer. It will have you running back for more. I GUARAN-DAMN-TEE IT. Whenever Academy sendse on a trip to this side again i will make sure I make this my #1 spot to come to. Jah guide and 1 luv for Chef Rose and fam. He will not disappoint. Bless up

I am not Jamaican and my husband is. I’ve been eating Jamaican food forever, and Chef Rose is hands down the best I’ve ever had! I’m so glad we were recommended this place and it’s not too far. Not only the food tastes great and is cooked to perfection, but the takeout packaging is impeccable. You can see that people preparing everything really take pride in their craft. Amazing! I’d give it more than 5 stars. This is our go to place for Jamaican food from now on.

Chef Rose food is really really good. I love the brown stew salmon and my wife loves their curry! Also can’t forget those sweet plantain waffles are way to good. They always have great vibes when you go there. Making it enjoyable when you pick up your food.
