Love this place and the food. Be warned, you should call your order in. Every time I’ve ordered online, it ends up going to door dash, no matter which method you choose. My door dash orders routinely get intercepted with the driver time jumping 20 min–cold food and they take so much $$ from the restaurant. Chef H is the best Chinese in the neighborhood though.

We are in town visiting from overseas, where we can’t get Chinese cuisine. We ordered from Chef Huang’s and are very happy with our meals. I especially like how the vegetables are not over cooked. The service is outstanding, and often times food is ready for pick up sooner than told. Great food, quality service – we are very pleased. Thank you!

Chef Huang is different from your typical Chinese restaurant. Upon our entrance, we thought we would sit down and have a server, since it appeared to be like that type of restaurant. It wasn’t. It is all self service. You order then wait at your table for your order. Our food was in a to go bag and packaging and we were given two styrofoam plates, plastic dinnerware, and napkins. Our drinks were in cans. This was our first time at a Chinese restaurant here and it felt odd eating this way in a booth under a giant crystal chandelier. My husband paid for the bill after they gave us the bag of food to eat at the table. He gave them a 20% tip ($6) without even tasting the food. I prefer to tip after trying the food in a restaurant or a $1 or $2 if we are just ordering takeout at a place. We both decided afterwards that the food was so superlative that the tip was fair.

I’m afraid to say but this use to be a regular of ours and it was excellent but things have really slid down hill. The food is still good but the not the same quality. It is being run like a fast food place now. I realize that they probably did what they had to in order to keep open but it is sad. I would still recommend Chef Huangs as a carry out option.

The food was prepared quickly and it was very good. Only problem was when I got to my location (which wasn’t my house), I discovered I had no utensils and no napkins. If the place where I went hadn’t had a fork, I would have been in a difficult situation.

Been going to this place for 26 years and I have never been disappointed. Chicken and cashews is the best I’ve ever had. If this place ever closes my heart will break. Queen is always so sweet to me and my mom.

Good price and good portions too! The service was quick and the person at the counter was very accommodating. Been living in the area for about 2 years and it’s my first time to try it. Will have to do more Chinese takeout from this place! They also have a lunch menu until 4! I think it’s a great deal!

My first time getting food from Chef Huang’s and I feel like the food is sorta a hit or miss when it comes to how it tastes.

We ordered here because of the good reviews. I requested no MSG on our Shrimp Fried Rice and Cashew Chicken. Both dishes were extremely bland, and very one toned in color. The egg rolls were good sized, but unfortunately, grease was dripping from every bite. The Cashew Chicken and Shrimp Fried Rice were also very greasy. The fortune cookie was alright. We only ate a few bites of each before tossing it away. Over $30 wasted.
