Just tried Chef Chen for the he first time and we were not disappointed! The portion sizes are HUGE and the food is delicious! They even made sure there was not any food cross contaminated due to severe sea food allergies. They make the food spiciness to fit your taste and they had a large selection of vegetarian options for my daughter. Would definitely recommend food from here!!!

Would give 0 stars if possible. Husband and I got take out on Monday. About two hours after consuming a small amount of the general tso’s chicken combo and egg roll, he ended up getting food poisoning and is still experiencing moderate symptoms. We called the restaurant and spoke to who I’m guessing is the owner and was as rude as rude can be. He started laughing about my husband getting sick. It’s absolutely sickening that these people are allowed to serve food to the public. When we told the guy we wanted a refund, he was trying to deny giving one at first. If you plan to order from here, please be aware. I hope these people get shut down and heavily fined.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars because we had the most delicious dishes for dinner from CHEF CHEN. We ordered the Sesame Chicken which was ever so delish! Next Bourbon Chicken which was utterly fantastic! Next was Chicken Chow Mein which was tasty as can be! The only dish that did not impress was the Cashew Chicken..although it was loaded with cashews it was not a favorite. We also got the Chicken sticks..4 of those are a meal unto themselves! They give an enormous amount of food, so we had all the goodness for another meal. The rice was cooked to perfection as was all the veggies in the meals. The egg rolls were sooo good..heck even the fortune cookies were tasty. Dessert? The Chinese Donuts are a bite of heaven on earth! We will back very, very soon!

***EDIT*** 8/30/21 – came back again and this time tried the curry tofu. Out of the park delicious, AND VEGAN. Owner AGAIN was extremely accommodating and even cooked up a second spicy tofu dish for me to try to he could experiment with a new vegetarian/vegan food for his restaurant. He is very passionate about his business and wants to improve his menu and food. Worth the 30 min drive from Youngstown.
