They were very quick to take my order and prepare my food. I just stopped by on a whim to get takeout. Lunch was little under $8 and very tasty. More reasonable than fast food and much more tasty. I will definitely be back to try other things. I got Sheshaun pork, fried rice and it comes with an egg roll.

Our first visit to Chef Chen was a very delightful experience. We decided to eat early on Saturday and were looking for someplace different. We spoke to a lovely lady named Gin (Julie) and she helped us make our choice of lunch specials. We were served our soups and eggrolls, which were very good. When she brought out the lunch size portions, I couldn’t believe how much food was on the plate. I had Hunan Chicken, (an eggroll extra$) and fried rice also hot and sour soup. My ladyfriend had Shrimp with Chinese vegetables in garlic sauce fried rice and wonton soup. We were thrilled to find this Chinese restaurant in Penn Hills. We enjoyed the food and had a lot leftover for later. If you are wondering if you should try it, don’t hesitate, it is delicious . Eat in or take home.

Ordered take out. Moo shu chicken which had almost no chicken and the pancakes were egg roll wrappers not pancakes. Also ordered seafood delight which said nothing about imitation crab which is something that can NOT be eaten by the person it was ordered for, fried Rice is SIMPLY white rice with soy..nothing more (not fried rice). The call to explain all this was received with uncaring response. Definitely not had this poor experience from here before. EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED..!!!

Food was very good. Woman behind counter very nice! Never see anyone eating inside, and they don’t deliver so they must do great business just on take out alone. I could see why when I tasted the food! Best in Penn Hills so far.

The food isn’t as good as it used to be. The owner (female) was very brisk with me, boarding on rude. One of the 5 things I ordered was chicken and broccoli. I asked for the broccoli to be cooked soft. I don’t think it was cooked more than 30 seconds. There wasn’t nearly enough meat in ANY of the dishes there was tons of rice though . They cut back on all their dishes and tacked on an extra $2-$3! It definitely wasn’t worth the money. Not a fan!

My dudes. Honestly. This place has THE BEST dumplings!!!! Has ruined all other dumplings for me. Also has a great drink selection! Cranberry Gingerale anyone? Also the staff is so friendly and wonderful. This is my FAV place for lunch.
