Cheese Wheel Pasta: What’s that? The cheese wheel pasta, sometimes called “pasta Alla Ruota,” is a dish that mixes steaming hot cooked pasta in a hollowed cheese wheel.
While this may be new to some of us, this is an age-old tradition known in Italian as dalla forma which means ‘from the shape of the cheese’

Visited Ocean City last week and had this place on my list of must try/visit. It didn’t disappoint. When at the counter placing my order, I met the owner and started talking to him and must say, what an absolute lovely man. Had to wait a bit for some fresh grilled chicken, and he was so apologetic. The food was well worth the wait (Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and Penne Vodka with Sausage). All of the staff were so kind and helpful. This place will be on my must eats every year. Added bonus is being able to watch them toss the FRESHLY MADE EVERY DAY PASTA in the cheese wheel right on the counter!! This pasta was incredible in taste. Also, don’t miss out on the Foccia Bread!!

I got the chicken Alfredo and the penne in vodka sauce. The chicken Alfredo was amazing! Chicken was fresh and flavorful and not over cooked. The noodles are house made and so is the sauce.. wonderful Alfredo 10/10. Vodka sauce wasn’t as good as the Alfredo. I felt it lacked a little flavor and just wasn’t the impressive. Definitely recommend going here though! Good Alfredo and fast service!

Wow, this place was amazing. We were told about this place from the front desk person at our hotel. We were looking for a quick bite to eat since we got back into town late. This is a new establishment located around 11th St. on the Boardwalk. They have a very small menu, but everything is cooked fresh, right in front of you, starting with the homemade pasta. Then, it’s transferred to the large Parmigiano cheese wheel. My wife had chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, and I had the penne vodka with Italian sausage. They both were amazing. We had to order the Pene pasta salad to take home. We also ordered the bread with our meal, which was baked perfectly, crispy on the outside and lite and fluffy on the inside. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant.

I’ve eaten at a lot of different restaurants in Ocean City, Maryland but this one by far is the best! I got the Chicken Alfredo & the Focaccia Bread & it was the best pasta & bread i’ve ever eaten in my life. I will DEFINITELY be back, unfortunately not until next summer.. Great location right off the boardwalk, friendly staff & quick service!

Absolutely loved this place!!! Fresh pasta made daily as well as the sauces and the meatballs. We tried the penne pasta with marinara and penne pasta with Alfredo sauce!!! They cook the pasta right there, then place it in a huge wheel of cheese and stir! Both were delicious!!! Owner was very friendly and definitely loves what he does!Will definitely be eating here again!!!

Practically the best Pasta I have ever had in my entire life. Staff was extremely nice, and watching the way they made the pasta was extremely satisfying. Penne Salad and Fettuccine Alfredo w/chicken was the BEST. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend getting the Focaccia bread. It was so fluffy and flavorful and DELICIOUS.

This place is great! Ordered pasta and in no time it was ready to go, you can watch them boil the noodles, mix in the cheese and then dish them up. The staff is wonderful, very nice! We will be back when we visit ocean city!
