Excellent Sunday lunch. We were out on a Sunday drive, looking for a breakfast place. Cheeky‘s popped up in Google maps. Even though we’re looking for breakfast, they were serving an after church lunch. We arrived right when it opened at 11. This is a meat and threes place which means you choose one meat, and three sides. That is, veggies or a dessert. The choices were, meatloaf or smothered chicken. My wife tried one, and I the other. Everything was excellent. We loved the purple hulled peas and the collard greens. The fruit salad was delicious. Even though I was disappointed we didn’t get breakfast, I will definitely come back here. The atmosphere is simply a must see to believe. If you were looking for a politically correct place, this is the wrong place. The people at the nearby tables all knew each other and talked across the tables to each other. I think they had come after their Bible study groups. But they were all very friendly. We will definitely be back.

If you are looking for great country cooking, you won’t find much better than Cheekys. I’ve tried it all and there isn’t one thing not worth it….it’s all good. The specials are focused for the day, but omg it’s yummy…every day.

By far the best breakfast in 70 miles around Columbus, also sunday lunch spread amazing 20 side dishes. Best biscuits my wife ever had. Owner is lovely person. Also very good value!
