We can provide our guests with the additional safety of an enclosed kitchen and limited personal contact – whether you choose to drive up, order ahead online, or have our food delivered. In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. We are reinforcing our policies, including frequent and proper handwashing, along with the proper utilization and changing of gloves as we continue to serve our guests.

Me and my wife wanted to try checkers for the first time and the nearest location is 30 min from me. Finally had a chance to check them out and talk about disappointing. Girl comes out the restroom and takes my order, cool, I ordered the burger combo with funnel cake fries. She then takes out a bag of frozen fries, breaks them up on the filthy floor of the kitchen, picks up the bag off the floor and with her gloves all over the bag, she reaches inside the bag with the dirty gloves and pulls the fries out. Then proceeds to make my burger with the same filthy gloves touching all over the burger patties and tomatoes etc. Luckily I chose to walk in because I always want to see the conditions of a new spot I’m checking out. I was soo disappointed, I didn’t even ask for my money back. I just told my wife let’s go, I would rather try a Checkers in a “better” location. Either that girl is completely clueless to sanitary standards and seriously needs training or she just doesn’t care. Given the quality of people working there, I’m not surprised really. The male drive-thru cashier was excellent and very very friendly polite and knowledgeable yet the food was displeasing to say the less and I believe the entire staff did the best they could under the circumstances and it was hot with these 3 digit temperatures which is insane. Perhaps the grease was old and the chili tasted horrible but the Weiner had a nice snap to it which made it bearable to eat. We will be back for the fish sandwich though, they ran out of fish…..go figure:)

Mess up order 3 time and didn’t give receipt. Order tender, fries, burger. Only got tender. My husband had to go inside and correct it. They gave the other stuff but still end up with missing fries. Had to wait again. Got 2 medium fries when we order medium and a large. Gave up and went home. Got home and missing tenders. Order 8 only got 6. Worst part was the tender was raw. I have picture of it too. Bread of the burger taste old.

I don’t normally complain but I’m highly upset. I not from the area been driving for 5 hours. Once we finally made It I was hungry. So we decided on checkers. This one was the closest too the hotel so that’s where we went. The store was empty when we got there so I didn’t expect to have any issue. Well I was wrong. The young lady at the register was sweet but was very confused. I order a cheeseburger kid meal and 5 piece hot wing meal a 5 piece tender meal and a number 9 spicy chicken meal. She had to keep asking the lady in the kitchen how to ring things up. When she finally got it rung up and went to give us the cups it was only 3 instead of 4. I was like it’s suppose to be 4 meals she was like no the wings can’t be put in a combo. The menu shows a price for the wing combo. Instead of making a big deal I just purchased a small fry and drink. I spent $48. We got our food. I asked was everything in the one bag they gave me she said yes..I glance in the bag and because it was so packed it looked like it could’ve been everything. Made it back to the hotel and my spicy chicken sandwich was not in the bag. I called and was told either come back right now (15-20 drive) or come back another day. So I ended up with no food because after 5 plus hours of driving I don’t have the energy to drive back and no receipt was on my bag and im not from here so I can’t come back another day. I’m very disappointed because I was hungry after being on the road so long.

I’m up here now. Just placed my order and the black lady with colored hair who took my order was rude and dry rushed my order even before I could finish ordering. I’m sure this is why the rest of the locations have been shut down and the Cajun street is taking their place. Prices are high at and the customer service is down right poor literally…

It was my first time eating at any checkers. This one on beechnut is ok. My chicken sandwich was small and smashed down. I did order some other things but the food wasn’t that great. It’s ok and nothing exceptional about it. I did however, while looking at the menu, an employee there helped me get a small menu they had on the side. I didn’t see it but she noticed I had issues looking up and trying to read the small print at the top of the registers. So far she was the employee that seemed to care about her customers. I don’t know if she was a manager, but she looked like she was cuz her uniform was a different style. At the register when I was ready to order, I waited quite a while because the cashier was too busy talking and looking at her phone next to the guy putting together the food. Her names is Salinthia, and she seen me waiting on her but she was too busy doing her own thing. She either didn’t care that the bosses were at a table in the corner discussing something with the female employee because she was out of eyes view or she just showed up to work to just get her ours in and get paid. She didn’t even greet me she just asked me what I wanted to order. I don’t know if Salinthia was having a bad day or it was almost time for her to go home. I might come back or maybe not. I wish I caught the name of the employee that went out of her way to help me so I can give a better review for her. The place is clean and fairly organized. Can’t complain about that. I did however like the fries and the loaded milkshakes.

I go to drive thru every time I come here and the food isn’t too bad, considering it’s fast food. The wait is just AWFUL, every time I come I keep hoping it would be better next time. It’s crazy waiting over 20 minutes after paying for fast food.

Went to order around 12 am, i tried to order a loaded fry, cheese burger, small fry with a slushy. Along with a second order of just fries and a sundae. After paying i was told to pull over to the grass area and wait bc they were making our fries fresh. After waiting 25 minutes, constantly checking the door to see if someone came out, my passenger decided to go to the window after i tried the door and it was locked, with BOTH receipts. We were then told to pull to the front so they can bring out our order. Another 10 minutes goes by and she only bring out one order, claiming she brought my food outside but someone else must’ve gave it to another person?? How if she came out with my food? Anyway, after going back and forth she went in and made my order but ultimately forgot to add my loaded fries in the beginning to begin with . I understand her frustration with going back and forth after forgetting about our order AND giving it to someone else, SHE was the one frustrated and giving me an attitude when i asked about my loaded fries and for my receipt back.

Very disappointing. I had never tried Checkers before but my family insisted that we have lunch there. We googled the closest one while we were driving through this particular area. Wow! Biggest disappointment ever. First of all it was raining outside so we walked in the restaurant and it was about 30 degrees in there the tv was on full blast on Mexican soaps, the floor was greasy and the tables were all dirty. Since I had never ate there I wasn’t familiar with their menu. The cashier girl couldn’t answer any questions I had about their menu she acted like she couldn’t hear me (or maybe it was the tv that was ridiculously loud). Their soda machine was a joke, she offered us 3 drinks- Sweet ice tea, Dr Pepper or Sprite. We ordered Sweet ice tea. Just before our food was ready she told us the ice tea was just water, we had no choice but to get Sprite (which is fine but that’s not what we wanted. After standing there waiting for our food “freezing” we all agreed to just take our food and eat in the car with the heater on. Bottom line this place is not a good place to eat comfortable in. Maybe it’s better if you drive through so you don’t have to experience the mess we did.
