A little too busy for me at midnight Friday. The people there are working fast, but the cars and people just keep coming. I ordered a burger and fries and It took about 30 minutes. I thought I would try this place because they built it new in 2018 or so and it stood there collecting dust until 2022 for some odd reason. I was pleasantly surprised at the hot and fresh burger and fries. I don’t recommend using the walk up window, the drive through gets way quicker service. Please note: There is a concrete median that is not properly built to accept traffic from any direction. You can not see this at night.

The newest Checkers in PSL is far above the average fast food burger place. Besides having a large selection of burgers and chicken sandwiches, they offer chicken wings, fry seasoned chicken tenders, hot dogs, chili and the best seasoned fries you can get anywhere. Our favorite is the “Cheese Champ”. Their friendly staff takes your order with a big smile. Everything they make is made to order, so it’s no problem ordering your food exactly the way you want it. If you’re looking for a snack or a full meal, they have not disappointed.

Checkers is always a good time, this one is in a decent area so you dont have to feel sketchy eatting outside. The new drive thru is automated , which through me off for a second but it worked. If I asked for anything specially or had a question a real person will speak and help correct or answer anything the automation cant. Food was good love the loaded fries.

Terrible experience. First time to this location as I began working from home again. Total time took over 30 minutes which busted my allotted lunch time. Staff member who took my order was pleasant, so no issue there. Besides the long wait time, the food was undesirable. Fries were half empty (pictured), both the fries and burger were cold (I only live literally 2 minutes away) and the requested root beer was watered down and flat. First bad experience and would probably be the last one.

Man, absolutely disgusting, 1star is being generous. I’m curious, if they would even eat the food they serve. Burgers are literally just slapped together, and the fries were HORRIBLE. They were cold, soggy, and the only flavor they had was fry oil.
