My brother and I decided to stop in here for some food after a play. He got a chopped steak sandwich, and I got a butcher steak and some drinks. The steak had amazing flavor and was tender enough that I barely had to chew it. The drinks were strong, which is how I like them, and the music was excellent. I will definitely be coming back here.

The place was empty when we were there and wondered why. The food was extremely average. My steaks be better at home. Plus they don’t have a variety. I’m not sure on how they have a spot in deep Ellum.

Limited choices on steaks, BUT cooked to perfection. Nice char-grilled flavor. I got sirloin and my BF got NY Strip, both very good. Wings appetizer, good, but I have had better. Margaritas, very, very good! They use real lime juice, no cheap mix. Service, excellent. I would like to come back for the live band.

I had the sirloin with garlic butter, fries, Caesar salad, and cheesecake. Everything was excellent. My steak cooked perfectly; medium rare leaning towards rare. Fries were wonderful with the truffle seasoning. With the garlic butter there was no need for steak sauces. Generous portion for the salad and not drowning in dressing. Cheesecake was big, drizzled with caramel and chocolate and strawberries on the side. Ate all of it. Very happy with my meal and service. Will definitely be back when next in Dallas.

Where can you get a good steak for a decent price? This is it! It’s a simple steak that comes with fries. They also have other amazing sides. Try their Brussel sprouts! They are tossed in an amazing sauce. They have a nice secluded patio in the back and offer a full bar. They also have an indoor and outdoor stage. This is a great place for a steak fix without breaking the bank! I will be visiting again!

Go there for the 8-ounce sirloin. (Mine was spot-on medium rare.) It is a beautiful looking cut of meat, and just as flavorful as it looks. Was it chewy? Not too tender, not too tough… a good satisfying mouthful of chew. I think I really like their thin seasoned fries, too. Good meal at a really decent price… hard to find any more, but I think I’ve found it.
