The eating area is more roomy than I expected and everything was very clean. Their salsa, which was complementary, is amazing. My husband ordered the Al Pastor Tacos and I ordered the House Fajitas and we shared. It was the perfect amount of food, we ate every bit and left stuffed. The prices are reasonable and pack a tremendous value since everything is so tasty. The green sauces on the side were very good also, I put them on every bite. Looking forward to retuning. It’s our new hidden gem!

We Found this incredible place completely on accident. Rosie our waitress was so kind and patient going over each detail of the menu we had questions about and even offered us a sampler plate of salsas n she happily pointed out her favorite dishes too. She shared in stories of home made dishes and her favorite things to cook too. This little hacienda is a MUST try if you’re in the area. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, go try Chabela’s because there’s nothing on their menu that will turn you away!!! So so so good!!! So good!!! I wish I didn’t live and hour away, but let me tell you… WORTH AN HOUR DRIVE!!!!!

So far best Mexican food in Joplin. Would have scored higher but I felt my relleno chile was right at it’s overdue date. The food was very well flavored. Service was ok but I believe we might have got there right at a shift change. My husband loved everything. I mean loved. Could stand a little deep clean and some upgrades but overall not bad. I’ve eaten at much worse. We will eat their again. Try their guacamole. A definite go.

So many things to choose from and they’re all amazing! We have tried new things each time and every time they’re delicious. Everyone who works there is extremely friendly and attentive and they work really hard to make sure customers are happy. And their salsa is some of the best in town!

Excellent place to get some Mexican food! A tiny hole in the wall located inside a strip mall, they put out some delicious and authentic food at a reasonable price. The inside is small but cozy, with festive décor reminiscent of many Mexican restaurants.
