This is an excellent spot to check out or pay attention to for events. The food was great, unfortunately we didn’t get to try the pizza since they were out. The mussels in fries was such a game changer, I never would have thought that combination and boy am I glad I got to try it. But the ambiance and overall setting is also noteworthy. They have room for live music outdoors and an entertaining atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

This used to be Trading Post… then it was Jailhouse… now it is Chatty’s Tavern. We sat outside and my wife’s nephew (and puppy) joined us for a perfect Sunday lunch. Faith was our waitress… very polite and there exactly when we needed her. My wife had a couple of appetizers (pretzels and bone-in wings) and one was as her main meal, I had the reaper boneless wings (not that hot but tasty) and the meaty pizza (delicious). There is nothing I wouldn’t have again – we WILL go back. Sorry the plate photos aren’t better – we couldn’t wait for photos! There were more wings in that dish.

Our food was excellent. We came in for their opening weekend. I had the California burger with no bun. It was perfectly cooked and the spicy mayo added a nice kick that didn’t over power it. Our waitress Faythe was really good and kept checking on us.

My wife had the flat iron steak and I had the pork chop, both were delicious. We also shared the grape and walnut salad, it was very good as well. Faith was waited our table. She was very attentive to our needs during our visit.

I thought the food was OK… I had a pizza and although I prefer the Bay Village style pizza better, this one was good and crunchy. The problem was the flies. This was our second time there and the flies are almost unbearable and disgusting. it needs to be dealt with!!!! I don’t think I will be back, they were that bad!

We had the Meatloaf Sandwich and Sweet Meat Pizza! Everything was great!! We sat on the patio and Lisa took great care of us. I’ll be back.

Tried out the new restaurant tonight. Mussels were good, pretzel was good, burgers were meh. I ordered mine medium, came well done. My husband’s was the same. They don’t really have gluten free options other than I cauliflower pizza. A gluten free bun or corn tortillas would have expanded the menu more. The waitress was good. The flies were annoying. We’d probably give it one more try though.

Chatty’s is a fantastic replacement of Jailhouse Tavern. The atmosphere of the location is marvelous and a great fit for the area and the wall art covering the entire inside works very well.

The menu on paper doesn’t look any better than any other place. Don’t get me wrong, everything looks good. But what they deliver is awesome. Every item on the menu is 10x what it sounds like. The bar staff is really good. It’s great to see this place open again
