Great spot – they have a lunch specials menu that just hits the spot. I got Khao Soi and while I was eating it, two separate people who I didn’t know came up to me and asked me what I was eating because it looked so good. And they were right to do that. It goes insano style, truly top notch zing in your mouth. See u at Charm for lunch.

The food was tasty. The portions were decent sized. The only complaint I have about the food is that the mushrooms in the Tom Kah Gai were undercooked — basically raw. Not sure if this were intentional. The flavors were great though.

OMG!!! This place is A M A Z I N G! We were wowed on every note of our dinners. A wonderful bouquet was coming out of the kitchen, so I ordered that—the Seafood Hot Plate. The sauce is a taste of heaven. He had the rack of lamb with turmeric rice and grilled asparagus. Both dishes are 5 stars! We know how to eat and I used half his rice, almost finished my dinner, ate some of his and we are both stuffed. I’m going to run away with the cook.

Absolutely great place for vegetarians and for a group of people of 5-8. The staff is insanely helpful, friendly, kind, and attentive. The food was incredibly good. I would recommend the eggplant dish- it was very flavorful and savory. The pad Thai was surprisingly the only inedible thing that the group of 8 couldn’t eat because it was wildly too spicy. We went there for a birthday dinner and fit in the cozy nook area at the end of the restaurant. Highly recommend. There is a separate vegetarian menu that they provide and it is surprisingly more extensive than their regular menu. Very happy with this place and would definitely come back!

Hidden gem on Piedmont in Oakland. The restaurant is beautiful and the food tastes great. They offer many dishes that are different from typical Thai restaurant, such as Nam Yum Khao Tod or grilled trout with mango salad. Each dish was beautifully served and delicious. The desserts are pretty common in Thailand, but hard to find in the U.S. like black sticky rice topped with egg custard and Rod Chong with palm coconut juice.

Delicious! Sat outdoors, under an umbrella and had a lovely, quiet meal. Had something with the word, “Pad” so a stir fry of sorts and as you can see from the picture, it had prawns (3 of them), chicken breast and a variety of vegetables (asparagus, tomatoes, carrot, baby corn, mushrooms, red bell pepper) with the option of brown or white rice. The garlicky sauce had a nice kick to it and it was very tasty. The service was good too! I’d return again if I was in the area and craving Thai. Yum!
