We were expecting to be wowed but were underwhelmed. Entry door is gorgeous and outside is so welcoming. Walking in directly to dining room tables and the salad bar was a surprise. We thought we entered in the wrong door. There were approximately 3-4 tables of people dining at mid-afternoon. Service was slow, but friendly.

Restaurant is straight out of the ’80s. Meal took minimum of 45 min to be delivered to the table after ordering when there was only 5 tables max in the entire restaurant occupied. Server was new and was doing his best, but food took forever. Food was way overpriced, $30 for one filet of walleye. They also charged about 5% to pay with a credit card. Do not recommend.

We went in On a Saturday early afternoon and there was hardly any people in there. We sat at the bar, (only ones there) we got our drinks pretty quick and ordered food. It was taking a while but we were in no hurry then another couple walked in about 15 minutes later, ordered, then another couple walked in and ordered.. the couples that ordered after us both got their food and we were still waiting. The bartender said the cook was working on our food which was some appetizers and I finally told her to forget it. We paid for our drinks and left. Very disappointed in Charlie’s.

Service was great! Salad bar needs a little work. I think it’s a little overpriced for average food. Had the walleye sandwich which was OK for $16.95 I believe. That seemed to be an average price. It was the $8.95 they added to the dinner to get salad bar with it. Idk maybe I’m wrong, but that seems a little much.

It cost a lot, like my New York strip had a lot of fat on it and it was like 50$ and it took 2hr for appetizers and main courses, also the beer cups were small and cost like 5$ buck for a golden lite, and the pop cost a lot for the kids also the chairs where uncomfortable and the table cloth was vary odd fashion also the service was not good they did not ask us if are food was good they also made a lot of mistakes with are orders too
